The Myths

C H A P T E R F O U R

Once Amber and I get inside Amber runs into the kitchen where Keira and Leticia were. I walk over to the couch and sit down and turn on netflix, then Hannah comes down with Clara and Jillian. "Hey! We were going to play a game on the Wii!" she whines and I look up at her and roll my eyes.

"Hannah, the T.V was turned off, so I'm watching netflix, you guys can come join if you want, we can pick a movie and we can all watch it" I finish and start going through the movie options. Jillian shrugs and walks into the kitchen to go get Keira, Amber, and Leticia. Clara sits down on my left side and puts her feet up on the couch and Hannah makes a little bed on the floor and lays her head on Clara's legs. I start to lay back against Clara and put my legs up as well, then Amber came in and jumped onto my lap and everyone started laughing. I push her off and she sits on top of my legs. Then Jillian came in and layed down next to Amber, laying her head on her lap while Keira and Leticia join Hannah on the floor.

"We should watch Cyberbully" Jillian says when I'm about to pass it. I look over at her and then everyone starts nodding, most not caring what we watch, they will probably just pass out anyways. I click on Cyberbully and everyone shuts up while we watch it.

When we got to the end of the movie, Keira and Jillian were crying, and everyone else was sleeping besides me and Amber. Amber stood up and stretched her arms out then grabbed my arm and pulled me up and started dragging me outside. "Where are we going?!" I ask. She doesnt say anything and just keeps making me run deeper into the forest. She finally stops running when we get to a cave.

"Come on" she says and smiles while looking into the cave.

"What are we doing here Amber?" I ask, a tad bit annoyed that she just dragged me all the way out here to show me a cave.

"Luke told me, that theres a spell, that if wolves, like us, entered this cave, we would automatically turn into our wolf forms, and there would be a waterfall, and grass, and a river, and there will be other wolves, others like us, then we can make a bigger pack, or join a pack, except well.." she stopped talking and glanced over at me with a worried expression.

"What is it?" I ask, a little bit anxious by now.

"Alpha's, well, to get in, they have to fight, what they call, a Spirit Wolf, the Spirit Wolf is suppost to be able to tell if you deserve it, if you deserve the honor" she finishes and touches the cave wall. I look at her then sigh, and take a step in. Then all of a sudden I feel a gust of wind, and before I know it, I'm in wolf form, standing in front of a wolf, clearly transparent, but a wolf with that. I hold my breathe, and just stare in astonishment. She was female, one of the biggest wolves I've seen, and she had snow white fur and icy blue eyes. Then she just disappeared, and I felt a jolt of pain, it hurt so bad. I just stood there, held my ground. Then the pain stopped, when I opened my eyes, I didnt even know I closed them, I was facing Amber, she was in wolf form as well. It was so bright in the cave, and the cave was as amazing as she said. Then I just noticed Ambers fur, she was a reddish wolf, with bright green eyes, white paws, and a white belly. Then I realized other wolves, we were surrounded. It was easy to tell which were strays and which were packs, strays stayed alone, packs stayed together, then I saw Luke, with two other wolves, one a black female with gold eyes, the other a gray male with darker gray specks on his back, with blue eyes. I flicked my ear and trotted over there to the three of them, followed by Amber. Luke looked up at as and looked over at the two wolves.

"This is my alpha, Alexis, and her beta, Amber" He sais as we walked up. I bowed my head to welcome them and sat down, Amber did the same. "Alexis, Amber, this is Vicky", he said and tapped the females shoulder, "and thats her brother Jakob" He said and Jakob wagged his tail, it was obvious he was only a child. "They wanted to join our pack, but they need your acceptence of course" he finished.

I started to nod slowly, "Okay, we'll give them a chance" I replied and Amber nodded in agreement. 

"Alexis, we should get back to the Lake House" Amber said quickly and looked at the entrence.

I nodded and got up and ran out of the cave, followed by Amber. Once we got back to the house, we changed back to human form, with clothes on, and we walked inside. 

"Thank god you guys are here, Alexis, I need your help, I can only practice my magic on you, since you triggered it, of course" Keira said as soon as I walked through the door. Before I could even get a word out she dragged my out by the lake.

"Okay, so stand there, and I'm going to try to move a water ball, onto your head" she said, looking at the water.

"Why do I have to get wet for this?" I asked, a little bit pissed that I didnt have any warning.

She looked back at me and crossed her arms, "Well maybe I could just push you in the lake, stop being a whiney bitch and suck it up" she said sternly and started concentrating on the water again. I shut my eyes shut and before I knew it I was covered in water. I opened my eyes and looked at Keira, she looked to excited and happy that she actually did her first water spell,

"Okay, come on, lets head up to the house so I can dry off now, please" I say, joking around. She nodded and we ran up to the house.
