The Myths

C H A P T E R E I G H T

I sigh, I can't fall asleep. I stayed at my actual house tonight, I don't really wanna have to talk, or see Amber, and possibly Kiera since those two are best friends now, but hey, I still have Leticia and them. I roll over in my bed and just stare at the wall, my wall decorated with pictures and doodles of us, Amber, Keira, Leticia, and I. I remember decorating it, we picked out the most silliest pictures, and the best pictures of us all, some of them were taken when we didn't even realize it. There were ones from Halloween, Thanksgiving, all the holidays, then there were the ones from Christmas, we used to all go Christmas shopping, and spend it at Amber's house, well this is just great. I groan and roll around again and just look out my window. Then I see a rock hit it. I get up and walk over and open the window and look down, it's Vicky.

I nodded and she grabbed onto this weird vine plant thing that leads up to my window and climbed up and jumped inside. "Well, Jakob still isn't talking to me, what about you and your friends" was the first thing she said as she jumped onto my bed. I sat down next to her.

"No, they don't want to speak to me, but, I don't really want to speak to them either" I said and felt uncomfortable, even though ever since that fight between us all and the group divided into two, Vicky has been a better friend then I thought, and won't leave my side, but we both know she still hates me, its just that right now I'm all she's got. 

"Of course you don't, they betrayed you, why do you think I won't talk to Luke, and I only talk to Jakob because, well, he's my little brother, and theres nothing he can do about it, I'm always gonna bug the shit out of him, he's stuck with me, and as for Luke, I don't trust him, nah, not anymore, he's just, cold, and different, same as that little witch friend of yours. I heard she's doing dark magic now, and your pet wolf, or Amber, whatever the hell her name is, she's extremely violent, and I guess that vampire chick Brianna and this guy named Josh joined their pack, Im not sure what Josh is, but he is definatly something" she said and kept on blabbing, damn she was a talker, a little bit annoying but, she's also all I've got.

Keira's P.O.V

I was at Luke's, like always. I told Luke that I'd do dark magic, but I'm not  what he turned Amber and Jakob into, and well, part of this was Brianna's fault, along with her boyfriend Josh. Josh was siren, and not anyone here really likes him, but the more the merrier. "Hey, babe, can you get me another beer from the fridge" Luke said, dragging me back to reality. I rolled my eyes and got up.

"Sure thing, oh, and I said to call me by my name" I said and walked over to the kitchen. I grabbed his beer, and one for me to, damn they drove me crazy, I'm the only sane one here. I walked back and tossed one of the beer's at Luke and he quickly grabbed it and chuckled, he was high and drunk as fuck, damn it why am I dating him. I sat back on the couch and kicked my feet up and looked at the mess of people I hang out with. I should've chosen Alexis, but nope, I'm stuck in a nutshell with some of the most insane people on the planet. 

"So, when are we gonna attack Alexis and her pets" Brianna sneered, she hated Alexis, and wanted to get back at her for who knows what.

"When we know exactly what we wanna do, do we wanna rip her throat out, or rip her head off, or, torture her to death, Keira, how about you pick how to murder your ex bestfriend, I mean, I know Alexis, and I bet you would love to be able to choose how she dies" I look at him, disgusted, how can someone just be okay with killing somebody else, damn they disgust me.

"Don't know, hey, I'm gonna head back over to my place and get some sleep, see y'all later " I said and got out of there as fast as I could. I found myself driving to Alexis's house, only to see her and Vicky, having a blast in her bedroom, I could hear the music, and see them in pajamas dancing, and lip syncing, I missed being goofy like that, with her, Amber, Leticia, and I. I sighed and drove home and went up to my room, and slept.
