Luke's POV

I sigh. "It doesn't concern you. It's.. really nothing."

"Luke, I told you basically every about me, but you can't tell me anything about you? That's not fair."

"I can't that's what you don't understand! People expect me to trust them as soon as I meet them, that's not how it works. I don't even understand why you're so determined about this." I take my bottom lip in between my teeth, chewing on it.

"I'm determined because I care about you. I swear you can trust me. I'm not a person who learns something about someone and goes and tells another person."

"Look, I don't think I can trust anyone anymore.. Please don't take it personally. I'm sorry."

Michael doesn't get a chance to reply, before the bathroom door flies open.

"Why are you talking to that?" Christopher hissed, pointing at me.

"He has a fucking name, learn it." Michael growled.

"Rather not. You clearly haven't heard about him have you? Or are you just hanging out with him out of pity?" He asks.

"What do you mean 'heard about him'?"

"Well-"

"Michael, we should get going." I finally speak up, cutting Chris off.

I gently push Michael out of the bathroom, stopping when he's out of the room.

"It's not your story to tell." I snap, glaring at Chris.

"You don't deserve to have him as a friend." He then walks out of the room.

I hid in the largest stall, curling up in a ball in the far corner.

"He's right. I mean who would want you as a friend. If he actually was your friend it would be out of pity." I silently begin to cry for a few minutes, but stop when I hear the door creak open. I stuff my face in my sweatshirt, curling up even tighter.

"Luke?" I hear Michael's voice ask. I remain silent until a whimper left my mouth.

"Are you crying?" Great, just great. He probably thinks I'm crying over nothing. I wait to hear a laugh, but it never comes.

"I know you're in here, Luke. I didn't see you come out." I hear his footsteps get closer and they stop at the stall that i'm in. "If you don't unlock the door I'll crawl through." He threatens.

When I don't unlock the door he crawls underneath. "Why are you crying?" He asks, concern laced in his voice.

"It doesn't matter. Trust me." I say, not looking up.  He sighs and places two fingers underneath my chin, forcing me to look at him. "It matters to me.." He whispers, looking into my eyes.

I just shake my head and lower my eyes, "Why do you care anyways?"

"Because I care for you."

"Last time someone said that didn't turn out too well for you, did it?" The voice reminds me.

"Y-You really do?" I ask, looking back up. I expected him to laugh and tell me no, but that never happens.

"Of course I do, Luke." He smiles at me.

"He's lying, I mean you're a waste of space and time. You don't deserve him."

I push his hands away, and begin to cry again, I place my head in my hands. The voices are right, I don't deserve him, I'm a waste of energy, I'm worthless yet, he's beautiful and worth everything. My thoughts begin to get the better of me.

"Luke, what's wrong? Was it something I said?" He asks with worry.

I don't say anything, and just continue to cry. "You're going to make yourself sick, Luke. Come on, do you want me to take you home?"

"No, no. I don't want to go home."

"Do you want to go to my house?"

"P-Please." I hiccup.
