Philophobia (Magenta Series 01)

Prologue

"Promises are meant to be broken" I said and he sighed in disbelief.

"Comm'on, tao lang tayo...we fall in love because we can and we must" he stated and held my hand

"Walang magagawang tulong ang pagmamahal na iyan sa buhay, Hindi naman tayo mapapakain niyan, masasaktan pa tayo kapag nagkataon" sigaw ko at kinuha ang nga gamit ko sa lamesa.

" can't you just at least try? hindi mo naman malalaman yung outcome kung hindi mo itatry diba?" he asked and forced me to stay sa office.

" I said I won't kaya huwag mo akong piliting gawin ang mga bagay na ayaw ko, and if you truly love someone you'll respect their decision" I stated and he let go of my hand.

" so you're saying I should just accept that you can't love me? that you won't care for me?" he said and I turned my back at him.

"I'm sorry" I said and left without looking back at him.

You can't force people to love you back just because you hold them dearly and basically I won't and I just can't.
I may not have experienced it pero marami na akong nakitang nagmahal pero nasaktan lang din, many people say natural na ang masaktan kapag nagmamahal pero its not for me because kapag nagmahal ka diba you expect to be happy with the person you chose to fall in love with kaya bakit kapa magmamahal knowing to you'll just get hurt? sayang lang ang oras mo and in my case marami pa akong nga bagay na mas kailangang pagtuonan ng pansin at atensiyon and I have no time for that risky love story.
