POV: you save Damon.
Warnings: violence.

Your POV:
"Rebekah may be my moms friend but she's so brutal." You were talking on the phone with your best friend, Davina.  The conversation held for a few more moments then you were off.
You were staying with the Mikaelsons, because your mom was away and they're the only ones she could dump you off on.
When you were younger you and Rebekah got along. But not so much now.
the only sibling you could physically stand was Elijah. You liked him pretty well. Klaus was a dick and Rebekah was basically a darker version of Juliet and T-Swift mixed.
It was bad.
She's been going off about some guy all morning and You couldn't enjoy a simple muffin.
Damon this and Damon that. Whoever this Damon guy is seems pretty awful. You just wished that she would shut up.
You decided to completely ignore her altogether and go upstairs to catch a nap.
This house and it's drama has you exhausted.
Your body fell into place on the memory foam beneath you. Sinking your weight in its embrace.
One thing you loved about staying with this crazed family is the super comfy beds.
Luxury.
Your eyes drifted and eventually shut.
.
.
.
"Aaahgh" you heard loud groans of pain coming from downstairs. you jumped to your feet in a panic almost immediately.
You could tell the grunts didn't belong to Elijah or Klaus. Who could it be?
"But since vampires can heal, bleeding you may take awhile...we should probably stick to the major arteries."
You heard Rebekah's voice echo throughout the dining hall.
You peered around the corner as Klaus joined the interaction.
A very handsome man was bound by bear traps on his wrists dangling defenseless.
"Look what you caught."
He smirks, walking towards his little sister.
Eyeing the string up man.
"You're bleeding him of vervain."
Klaus smirked even more making hand gestures.
"Don't you think it would be easier to hang him upside down?"
He had a way of making everything elegant sounding. Even though he was a total twat, he always sounded classy. Maybe it was the accent. You never truly figured it out.
Rebekah steppes towards him.
"I'm perfectly capable of inflicting pain. Thank you very much."
She furrowed her brows.
Klaus licked his lips and laughed.
"Well excuse me. It's not like I have any expertise in the matter."
The level of cockiness he displayed was unimaginable.
He rolled his eyes sweetly.
"Why don't you, leave me be and go manage your witch."
Rebekah played with the blood covered blade in her hand.
You were seriously confused at the moment.
What witch?
This family is seriously deranged.
Klaus but at his lip and surrendered exiting the room. You pressed your body against the wall in hopes of no one seeing.
Thankfully he did not.
"Now where were we?"
Rebekah growled as she shoved the blade into the mans chest, pulling down.
He let out a scream that sent chills down your spine.
Nobody deserves this.
You could not imagine the pain he was in.
You could tell he was a vampire. By the way he healed and By what Rebekah had said.
You hid behind a nearby massive vase as a short black haired girl stopped at the door way.
"Bonnie."
You heard the strung man groan.
"Damon?"
Damon.
That's Damon.
She left without bothering to even help.
Some friend she is.
Rebekah left the room and occupied herself in the basement while he "bled out."
Klaus was off painting in the attic and Elijah wasn't even there.
You were the only one on the main floor, other than Damon. You had to do something.
You walked out to where you could see him more clearly.
"Damon?"
You quietly whispered walking up to him.
"G get away."
You didn't listen to his weakened commands.
You kept walking towards him.
His shirt ripped open exposing the large gash and his chiseled abs.
He had marks all over him. He was clearly in excruciating pain.
"It's okay, I'm gonna get you out of here."
Rebekah is going to kill you.
Your hands reached for the bear traps but you were way too short.
With a grunt you fell back on your feet.
You heard him groan softly.
"Uhhh....here"
You held your wrist to his mouth and he forced his eyes open on you. His eyes widened unintentionally. He fixed a stare upon you.
"Don't worry I'm not on vervain." You kinda laughed. "Even though she's trying to bleed you from it...it might've been helpful. I'm sorry."
You've never gave a vampire your blood before but it looked like he was in need of something. He looked your body up and down as his eyes dropped shut once more.
"N- no."
He breathed heavily and swallowed. His eyes grew red and Veins appeared beneath his eyes.
"It's okay. If I didn't want to help I would've been long gone by now. Hurry before she comes back."
You worriedly looked at the entrance to the basement.
He took your wrist on his lips. To your surprise he was much more gentle than you anticipated. You figured it was because he was almost dead. But it was just the softer side of Damon peeking through. You felt a soft rub against your inner wrist and suddenly a piercing feeling.
You gasped but covered your mouth with your hand. It was such a strange feeling. Like vibration against your veins. Slight pain on your wrist. It kinda reminded you of donating blood junior year in the school gym. But this situation was way different.
You seen his wounds closing up and his color coming back.
You also just realized how bright blue his eyes were.
His gaze fixed back on you as your wrist pulled away.
"You may wanna bandage that."
You heard the playfulness in his voice.
He ripped down the bear traps he was strung up in.  His feet touched the ground.
His body tilted to the side and instincts told you to balance him.
Your hands placed upon his chest, accidentally tracing his outline. he looked down at you and smiled.
"I got it, love."
You rolled your eyes shaking your head.
He stretched like he just had the best nap of his life and whispered to you.
"She's going to kill you, ya know..."
You knew that already but you couldn't help but to feel a little panicked.  You just nodded and hid your emotions well.
His eyes darted around the home.
"How about we get out of here then?"
He smirked as he grabbed your waist and everything was a huge blur.
It felt like you time traveled or something.
It was insane how fast he was.
You appeared in front of The Mystic Grill.
"I think I owe you a drink."
He gave you that smile. You looked up at him and laughed.
"I'm not 21 yet."
A smile spread across your face as well.
He rolled his eyes and you thought you were about to drop to your knees.
"Well then.."
He took your hand in his, turning it over looking at the mark from earlier.
He returned it face down and gently pecked your cheek.
He lifted a piece of paper with a number on it in the air.
"I owe you one."
The slip of paper made its way between your fingertips.
"Stay safe, darling."
With a wink he disappeared before your eyes.
That was the last interaction you had with Damon Salvatore.
