Imagine: you run away to a new town (mystic falls)
Warnings: none

Your POV:
You just turned 18 and you were ready for a life of your own. To get away from your toxic family and out of the paper town you were stuck in all of your life.
You wanted a change.
You needed a change.
It was mid July and the weather was burning hot. You had just yourself and your suitcase behind you.
You already took 2 buses an Uber and walked a mile.
But finally...you made it. Mystic Falls.
You stepped up to the sign that towered over your body, then looked at a nearby car, heading to pass you.
Instead of continuing to move, it halted.
"Would you like a ride?"
A blonde haired blue eyed boy stopped his truck in front of you.
"I'm Matt by the way."
He looked friendly enough.
"(Y/n)."
You held your hand through the window and he stepped out on the other side.
Effortlessly tossing your bag into the back of the truck.
He opened the passenger door for you and you jumped in.
"I'm heading to the Mystic Grill and it looks like you could use a bite."
Matt laughed and closed the door behind you.
He got into the driver's seat and buckled his seat belt.
"On the house"
He smiled brightly which creeped you out just a little bit.
How can someone be so friendly to a stranger.
He started driving through the town and passing buildings. You were astonished.
Not going to lie, you were weary of being in a stranger's car, but you needed all of the help you could get.
"You don't talk much."
He giggled out as he made a turn down the street.
You looked over at him and seen he was trying to make an effort.
"Only sometimes." You gave him a smile back.
He turned his car down one more street and onto a pavement which led to the Mystic Grill.
He pulled the truck in and you were greeted by several other people.
"Oh great, busboy found a friend."
You heard an arrogant accent call out.
Just what you needed.
You finally made out who the voice belonged to. A black haired blue eyed man. Absolutely gorgeous.
Bit of a dick, but he was beautiful.
"At least he's can make friends."
You stepped out of the truck and he stared at you like he's never seen something so beautiful in his life.
You didn't know what to do.
"What?"
You looked into his piercing blue eyes.
Matt came around the other side of the truck and picked your bag up out of the back.
"Leave her alone, Damon."
He walked by your side and carried your bag into the restaurant, Damon along with a short haired girl following behind.
Matt set up your suitcase at a booth and Damon and the other girl slipped in, in front of you.
"Would you like our special? It's grilled cheese."
Matt leaned in close to you and you smiled back at him.
"That would be great, thank you."
He nodded and disappeared in the back.
Damon was looking out the window and the girl...at you.
"I'm Bonnie."
She held out a hand, earning a rather odd look from Damon.
"I'm (y/n)."
You shook her hand, earning a pearly white smile from her.
She seemed like the sweetest thing in the whole world.
She nudged Damon in the side with her elbow. Harder than she should've but it was quite funny.
"Damon...pleasure."
He took your hand and held it to his lips before lightly laying his lips upon it. His deep baby blues connected with your bright (e/c) orbs.
This shot butterflies through your entire body.
You did well to hide it and replace all of the emotion with a subtle smile.
You seen Bonnie roll her eyes.
This may have been something he usually done.
"Trust me, you don't want to get involved with him."
Matt returned and his tone was dull.
He smiled anyways placing the grilled cheese sandwich in front of you along with a glass of sweet tea. Perched on the rim of the glass was a lemon slice. It's like he could read your mind. You never told him what drink you wanted but he brought your favorite anyways. Maybe it was a Mystic Falls thing.
"Thank you, Matt." You smiled brightly at him and he winked back, nodding as he did so.
You could feel the annoyance radiate off of Damon and it made you want to laugh.

Damon really didn't like this guy. That amused you.
"If you need anything at all, please let me know."
Matt placed a hand upon your shoulder. It made you uncomfortable but he was being so kind to you, so you made no mention.
You nodded and he left back into the kitchen.
"Don't you guys eat?"
You giggled from the side of the table.
Bonnie smiled and said she already had something...but Damon was different.
"No, but I sure would like something."
He looked deep into your eyes and it was like a trans.
"Damon, what the hell??!"
You seen the dark haired girl hit him and tug at him as a child would.
"Don't scream, come with me."
It was a command and you listened like you had no other choice.
He grabbed your suitcase and led you out of the restaurant.
He then pinned you against a wall and went to dig his teeth into you. But there was nothing you could do.
But he stopped.
He didn't do it.
Regardless everything did turn very blurry for a moment.
When everything cleared up around you, you noticed you were in a car. A really nice car too.
"Where the hell am I?"
You noticed mountains and lots of trees.
Damon looked over at you and then behind him.
"What did you do to me?"
You asked again, a little frightened.
You looked down and everything seemed to be in place, no bruises or cuts or anything for that matter.
"Well, I definitely didn't hurt you. we're going somewhere."
Your cheeks flushed in slight embarrassment.
And you saw your suitcase in the back.
"Where are we going, and why? Why did you kidnap me?!?"
You unbuckled you're seatbelt and raised your voice slightly, getting a little frightened.
He just laughed into a smirk and looked at you again.
"We're going to Alaska. I needed company."
Damon shrugged his shoulders as he reach over and bopped you on the nose.
You flinched back away from him and couldn't help but to smile.
"NEVER do that again."
You kinda laughed at him and settled back into your seat.
He shook his head smiling.
You really couldn't believe how handsome this man was.
"So...what's in Alaska?"
You asked him, trying not to pry. But he was the one forcing you to go with him so you had a right to know.
Damon slowed his car down and looked at his phone.
"Something I need."
