Chapter 11: The Past and the Present

Saturday, Kogarashi manor.

Tenma's POV:

I woke up early and wore a blue t-shirt and grayish-blue pants. I put on my shoes and went outside, I saw that Sasuke was ready for his morning walk and Aki-nee was sweeping. She saw me and smiled.

"Good morning Tenma," she said. I smiled in response.

"Good morning Aki-nee, Sasuke," I replied. I then went to Sasuke and petted him.

"Your gonna take Sasuke for a walk, right?" Aki-nee asked as she continued to sweep.

"Hai," I said as I put the leash on Sasuke's collar. "Come on Sasuke," I said and Sasuke yawned and then got up.

"Be careful Tenma," Aki-nee said.

"I will Aki-nee," I replied and then left with Sasuke.

I was jogging with Sasuke and it was very peaceful, the birds are singing, flowers were blooming. A good day to have fun. Suddenly, I heard something. I stopped and looked at an alleyway. No one was there so I just shrugged it off. I then continued. After I got back to the manor I attached the leash to his dog house again. I then pet Sasuke and went inside. After I finished breakfast, I went back to my room when my phone rang. I picked it up and saw that Shinsuke was calling me. I answered the phone.

"Hello, this is Tenma," I said starting the conversation.

"Ohayo Tenma! how are you doing?" Shinsuke responded.

"I'm fine, how about you?" I replied.

"Just great! are you busy today?" Shinsuke asked.

"I have to do today," I replied.

"Same here! How about we go to the riverbank and play some soccer?" Shinsuke said.

"Sounds great! I'll meet you there," I replied.

"Hai!" Shinsuke replied and hung up the phone. I put my phone on the desk and left my room. I said goodbye to Aki-nee and then left the manor. 

While I was running my way to the riverbank, I saw some kids playing with each other. I smiled at the sight as I saw their happy faces. It sure brings back memories. I then start to recall the times I had in Okinawa.

Third POV:

*Flashback*

Three boys were playing tag at a playground, they seemed to be having so much fun.

"I'm gonna get you Tenma!" Timmy said as he was chasing Tenma. He was close and Timmy jumped onto Tenma, causing the two boys to fall. They laughed and then got back up.

"Your very fast Tenma, " Timmy said as he wiped the dirt off his clothes. Tom went to them.

"Are you two alright?" Tom asked.

"Hai! we're alright, " Tenma replied, "also, " Tenma added and he tagged Tom, "tag! Your it." Tenma and Timmy then started running.

"Why you, I will tag you guys!" Tom said as he started chasing the two boys. After they finished playing they sat on the swings.

"Today was fun!" Tenma said.

"Yeah, I agree, " Timmy responded and then, his stomach grumbled. He blushed in embarrassment.

"How about we go to me and my brother's house, I heard auntie is making cookies, " Tom said as he got off the swing.
