Nozomi's POV:

I was searching if there are more to know about the Chosen Ones. I have an ability that I could turn into a ghost into the real world that can only be seen by the Chosen One and I could interact with things. I also can transfer the things in the real world and bring a copy of it into the dream world, so I could just touch the books and bring a copy of that book into the dream world, so I could read it. After all, it would be weird if people saw a book on the table with no one reading it or saw it floating in the air. As I continued to read some books from the real world, I then heard someone.

"Hey, Nozomi," the voice was familiar. I turned and saw Tenma.

"Oh, hey Tenma, it was just you," I said and I made the books disappear.

"What were you reading?" Tenma asked as he went to me.

"Oh, I was just trying to do some research about Chosen Ones, nothing good so far," I replied.

I looked around and noticed were in a black void of nothingness.

"Hey Tenma, you wanna the terrain?" I asked.

"Well, yeah, because we're just standing around but nothingness," Tenma said.

I slightly chuckled and said, "Well you can change it, this is the dream world after all. Just think of a place and it will be here."

"Hai!" Tenma replied. He then closed his eyes and the place started to change.

Instead of a black void, it was a terrain with, hills, lots of rocks, and mountains.

Tenma opened his eyes and smiled at me.

"This place looks so beautiful," I said in my mind.

"Let's sit down Nozomi," Tenma said.

I nodded in response and the two of us sat on the rocks. We look at the beautiful sky and the birds. Me and Tenma talked about things and joked a lot together. This does bring back something.

"Hey Nozomi," Tenma said.

I looked at him in confusion.

"Is it alright if I ask you some questions?" Tenma asked.

"Sure, ask me whatever you wanna ask," I said as I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Well, this might be personal, but," Tenma said, "what was your life like before?"

My eyes widened but I immediately was upset as I looked back at the memories. Tenma seemed to notice my expression.

"You don't have to answer that if you don't want to," Tenma said.

"No, I'll tell you," I said. I then looked up at the sky and viewed the clouds as I am about to explain.

"Ever since I was born, my mother left me and my father, because I was a human. She wanted an okamimimi child even though she was human herself. My father was the only one who took care of me and he had a good job, so we could live happily. As I grew up, everything was fine. Until I reached 3rd grade, my powers activated while I was defending a kid from some bullies. I was called a monster and no one wanted to be my friend. But, when I reached 4th grade, I knew it was for the best. When I discovered I was the Chosen One, I knew shouldn't make friends so that they won't have to suffer the pain of losing me. I was alone until high school, I had good grades so I was alright. I never told my father I was the Chosen One and I would train secretly. I also had problems trusting others because I was afraid that they might rat me out. So I always kept silent," I told Tenma about my life but not everything.
