Lunch slowly came and Euna had forgotten all about Chan somehow.
She was going to get in line for food until someone tapped her on her shoulder making her scream and throw her phone. Changbin, being invisible so people wouldn't think he was a stalker or something, quickly got it and placed it in his pocket. The phone itself turning invisible as well.
Euna turned around to hit whoever touched her until she saw Chan.
"Oh," she said, a slight sigh of relief escaping.
"I'm guessing your pea brain forgot about lunch," he laughed.
"Maybe," she said, tapping her fingertips together.
"It's fine," he said, "I'm eating at the Panera if you want to join still."
"Sure."
Euna walked over with him, getting out of the line, Changbin having no choice to follow as he still had her phone with him.
Sitting down Euna looked up, Chan pulling out his phone and headphones which seemed to always be on him or in use by him.
"So what do you wanna do when you get out of college," Chan asked looking up at the girl.
"I don't really know," she said, "I mean I have my job already picked by my parents. They really wanted me to do music. But I'm not sure if I really want to continue to get a higher degree, immediately get a job, or just try and travel the world or something."
"I say give it time," he said, "you'll figure it out eventually. Things might change as well and you might change your mind."
"My mind about what," Euna said as her sandwich was placed in front of her.
Chan's face seemed to pale even more as he slowly looked up.
"Oh nothing," he said, "I was just rambling."
Something in Euna's gut twisted as she met his eyes.
No he wasn't giving her bad vibes, he just wasn't telling the truth. He didn't seem like a bad person, he just was being quite sketchy.
Suddenly Changbin appeared.
"Chae," he said glaring at Chan and then looking at Euna. "Lets go."
Chan's face seemed to be drained of energy as he made eye contact with the devil.
"Chan-Changbin," he stuttered in confusion as Changbin's hand grabbed a hold of Euna's wrist.
"Wait how do you know him," she said glaring at Chan.
"He's an angel," Changbin sneered, "Demons and Angels know each other some way."
"Chan?"
Chan only looked down before giving Euna a sympathetic smile and popping away with a white cloud in his seat.
With this, Changbin dragged her back to her apartment.
But instead of going straight in, several people were in front of it.
Police.
"Uhm excuse me," Euna said as Changbin turned invisible. "What's going on?"
"Your roommate was Kim Youngmi right," the first one asked.
"Yes," Euna asked, "are you here to interrogate me?"
"No," the first one said, "we have evidence that it wasn't you, something else has happened. I think you should let us in to discuss before we tell you so."
"No," Euna snapped.
It wasn't that she didn't like the police or want them in her home, she just wanted to get in and sleep. Whatever they needed to tell her they could tell her now.
"She's not the only victim," the third one said finally. "There was another last night. A boy, but it was right outside of the class you had. We suspect that something supernatural is going on, and your the real target."
"Ok and so what are you going to do about it," Euna asked, now frantic as she realized the issue.
"We can't do anything," the first one said, "we don't have the power. This is Hell's work. All we can tell you is to try and isolate or just distance yourself so no one gets hurt. We'll give you time to tell your loved ones, but we wanted to tell you to try and stay away from innocent so they aren't effected by your fate."
With that they left, Euna's day immediately becoming worse.
