Changbin decided to let her skip her last class after the startle of seeing the spirit.

He quickly guided her to the campus green where she sat. He refused to leave her alone to get her something to drink and instead brought her with him to fill up her water bottle.

"So are you gonna explain exactly what a spirit is," Euna finally said as they sat down underneath a tree at the green.

"Yeah I guess," Changbin said.

But he didn't.

The two sat under the tree in silence.

Euna looked down.

She was confused.

Why?

Why her? Was why she being targeted? What made her special?

No one seemed to no but the things attacking her, so it wasn't helpful as the people helping her had no clue as well.

"Spirits are formations of parts of people that take their strongest emotions that they had and become their new form when they pass," he said finally.

"So a ghost?"

"No," he said, "the person is dead but their actual body remains under. Their strongest emotions come as a form as them and act upon those emotions. Ghosts are forms of the dead person who didn't understand that they are dead, they don't believe they are dead or they haven't come to terms with it."

Euna nodded as she looked around.

"But if that spirit was happy-"

"No," Changbin cut her off.

He looked around as well, his eyes scanning back and forth rapidly.

"Most spirits are bad," he said, "very bad. Most people don't live their lives extremely happy. Most have some sorrow and anger. It's the people who have the largest of the strongest remains of that emotion who become spirits. Most times it's sadness, regret, guilt, anger, or vengeance."

Euna looked down at her palms.

"Could you tell her emotion," she said referring to the lady spirit they saw earlier.

Changbin sighed and refused to make eye contact.

"Changbin?"

He looked at her, worry and regret in his gaze.

"Vengeance and anger."

"Do you know why," she said worriedly.

"Not exactly," he said once again looking off into the distance, his eyes scanning the campus.

Euna got a sinking feeling in her stomach.

Not exactly meant he knew a piece of it.

"Then what do you know," she said.

Changbin looked down at her.

"I know that she is following you," he said, "and those emotions can be easily carried out on you."
