Changbin was confused when Euna went straight to bed. She normally stayed up to study or watch a bit of TV with him, but tonight she didn't.
He didn't think anything of it.
He didn't think anything of the fact that her skin was almost ice cold compared to its normal temperature. He didn't think anything of the fact that she was smiling constantly.
What he couldn't stop thinking about was the fact that he had almost kissed her.
Would he have actually carried through with it?
That wasn't his job though. His job was to protect her.
So when he teleported to Euna's apartment to find her already ready and almost out the door he was confused.
Euna on the other hand had a constant headache and felt sick to her stomach. She felt as if something was merged with her and she couldn't place her finger on it.
The last thing she remembered from last night was feeling her body crash into a wall. Maybe that was why she had a headache.
She picked up her bag and went to head to the Pharmacy to pick up some ibuprofen for her headache when Changbin appeared in her kitchen.
"What are you doing up," he said, "wait where are you going."
"Pharmacy," she said, "not feeling so well."
It had been awkward after the incident from yesterday. And image that plagued her mind.
Why did she feel the pull forward? Why did she fall into the temptation of leaning forward as well? But most of all, what was that popping noise?
Changbin followed her out and quietly walked behind her.
He tried to peer into her mind to figure out what she was thinking, but there was something blocking him.
This was when he started to get worried.
A human shouldn't be able to block him.
Another point was when he caught up to Euna and saw a flash of gold in her eyes as she glared at him.
It spooked him more than anything, and at first he thought it was a reflection of a billboard or something. But upon looking around him, he realized there was nothing that could've caused that flash.
He stopped, but Euna continued walking.
During the day he didn't talk to her, flashes of gold appearing when he got too close.
Deep down, Changbin knew what was wrong, but he was in denial. He was scared. He didn't want it to be true.
But it was.
Because when Felix went to put his arm around her shoulder, her eyes turned gold and he went flying into a wall.
Students around her screamed as the gold disappeared and she looked around in confusion.
Then the gold cane back and a sickening smile crept its way across her features. The gold in her eyes disappeared and Changbin saw the faint figure drift out of her before Euna crumpled to the ground.
The spirit from yesterday had taken over and left her with practically nothing.
