And Euna was resurrected for the second time.
Her neck was messily wrapped and supported by bubble wrap, two metal chopsticks, and an ace bandage.
She was in her apartment.
Changbin was holding her hand.
Soomin was crying as she stared at the black blood all over her hands.
"Euna oh my god," Changbin jumped up as he felt her hand twitch.
He practically jumped her, until he realized she was back from the dead, again, and calmed down. He retreated to peppering her head with kisses.
"Don't- don't ever do that again," Soomin said getting up.
"I thought I was going to have a heart attack."
Changbin started at her silently, the two holding eye contact.
"Eun's," Soomin said staring at her best friends red eyes.
"What's going on."
Chan got up and walked to Euna.
"She's the ruler of hell," he said, "fully a devil, not a demon."
Soomin glanced at him then her best friend.
"How long."
"What," Euna croaked our, her voice horse and barely there.
"How long have you known that you weren't human."
"Two months."
Soomin nodded.
Changbin squeezed her hand and gave her a small smile.
"You're a fucking queen," he whispered.
"Damn right," Euna mouthed, her voice betraying her.
"No literally," he laughed.
Soomin watched the exchange, hurt filling her features. It was as if Euna didn't trust her anymore, like she had decided that Soomin wasn't good or worthy enough to be let known.
Chan noticed this.
"Hey you're Felix's human right," he said, "he's awake in Euna's room."
Soomin turned towards Chan, a scowl prominent on her face, her short black hair tangled.
"Shut up you albino."
With that she spun around and marched into Euna's room to scare the shit out of Hyunjin, Jisung, and Felix.
Chan grimaced before heading to the kitchen where Minho and Jeongin were.
Changbin watched Euna as she zoned out.
"Will she forgive me," she whispered.
Changbin hummed as he kneeled and brushed some of Euna's hair out of her face.
"She'll have to eventually," he said calmly, "she'll come around because you're all she has. As awful as that sounds, you two can't be separated."
Euna frowned.
"I lied and hid so much," she said, "she was completely alone that whole time."
Changbin nodded silently and looked at the open door, Soomin standing at the entrance chewing Felix out as Jisung stared at the girl.
"I don't think she was that alone," he said.
Euna gave him a confused look before letting it go and closed her eyes.
"Hey Argentum?"
Euna hummed and opened her eyes to meet his.
"I died a little bit after you did," he said softly, "and I saw something."
"What Aurum?"
"Me living with you in this apartment and finished your last two years of college with you."
Euna smiled softly, her face representing something more of a grimace.
"Sure you did."
"Okay maybe I didn't but-"
"You can," she smiled before squeezing his hand.
"But you aren't freeloading off of me, you're getting a job."
"Oh come on!"
Euna laughed as Changbin whined.
It would be okay, she realized.
She would be ok.
