Euna couldn't focus the rest of the day.

Especially when Changbin popped up in front of her at lunch in the library.

Soomin and Felix had been eating with her until then, Soomin screaming and falling over in shock, Felix saying he just 'sharted' himself.

"I broke your oven," Changbin casually said not even giving her too startled friends a second glance.

Euna glanced at Felix who was only staring at Changbin in surprise. Soomin was glaring at him like he stole her Kraft Mac n' Cheese.

"And did you fix it," Euna finally said looking back at the devil who was currently eating off of her plate.

"Oh definitely not," he said, "I disintegrated it and stole a new one from Sear's."

"De-devil," Felix stammered finally, "De-demon?"

"Yeah what about Aussie," Changbin spat.

Felix finally glared at him before clearing his throat, getting rid of his old stammer and voice crack before speaking.

"Your not supposed to be here," he snapped catching Changbin off guard with his voice. "You aren't supposed to be hitching with a Mortal."

"Yeah I know," Changbin sneered, "it's not like I asked to be assigned this dumb ass."

"What do you mean assigned," Felix asked.

Soomin was only gaping at Changbin who's grudge style was most likely making her pissed as a whole.

It reminded her of a life she so desperately tried to leave behind.

"Meaning I'm her Guardian," Changbin said breaking the silence.

"Impossible."

"Clearly not," Changbin said before leaning back and picking a piece of lettuce off of Euna's plate. "Check."

Felix did.

And Changbin was right.

"But how..."

"Like I've been saying," Changbin interrupted, "don't ask me cause I don't even know myself."

Euna began to think back to the morning when Soomin had announced the murder.

"Changbin you didn't attack anyone last night did you," she asked glaring at him.

"What no," he said, "one you saw me yeet myself off that building and into hell, two I was stuck with half assed disappointments of demons I call friends, and three I'd only be killing someone if they were bugging me. I don't fuck around with humans much."

"Oh."

The rest of lunch was awkward.

Euna felt sick the moment she read the article on the murder and passed her food to Changbin who shrugged and devoured it.

Felix kept his eyes one Changbin and neither Soomin or Euna could tell whether he was checking him out or if he was death glaring him. It was hard to tell.

Changbin followed her everywhere after lunch.

He had bothered her in the library, setting books on fire or disappearing and coming back with little useless trinkets. He surely did have kleptomaniac tendencies and it was a thing Euna had to be very aware of.

Later he had followed her to her 4:00-6:00 class. He had gotten in by saying he was a student who never showed up to class. The teacher, not caring and having a class of over 200 let it pass. It was her common maths class so it was bound to be a larger class.

The whole class Changbin sat beside her giving her answers to everything, getting inside the mind of the teacher making her say things that made the class crack up about, or simply that one time he made a book catch on fire in the middle of a lecture. It was definitely the most entertaining and enjoyable class ever.

After the class let out Changbin followed Euna out saying how the guy two seats behind her was staring at her the whole time and thinking about her.

"Well that's cute," Euna said, "maybe I'll try and talk to him later."

"Ehh I wouldn't," Changbin said, "one he's going to try and approach you later and all he wants is to get in your pants."

Maybe not so cute.

They decided to order a pizza and eat in Euna's dorm watching Tv.

Youngmi hadn't been back from classes yet, and Euna hadn't seen her all day. She probably was studying all day and woke up early though. Youngmi was quite studious despite her...perviness.

"Just speak into the remote it isn't that hard," Euna yelled at Changbin who was currently holding a steaming remote.

"It doesn't like me," he yelled back, "this and that stupid woman named Siri!!"

"Siri is just a phone system," Euna sighed, "she hates everyone."

Suddenly a news alert from her phone went off.

"Oh my god," she said, tears pooling in her eyes.

Changbin was alarmed when she snatched the remote from his hand and she immediately changed it to the news.

"The results of the murder victim has finally came in and it has been confirmed to be the body of the 21 year old Kim Youngmi a college student at...."

Euna couldn't listen anymore as she started shaking, her body overcome by shock.

Changbin was just as surprised by the news but had a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach.

Euna didn't even hesitate to turn into Changbin and wrap her arms around him as she sobbed into his chest. Stuck, Changbin didn't know what to do. He held his arms out wide so he wasn't touching her and looked down feeling her tears soaking through his black shirt.

Slowly, he put his arms around her and glanced at the tv.

A murder.

And by the looks of it.

A demon.

Rip Youngmi.

She was good while she lasted.
