Chapter 14: CLASSES

"Your classes is divided into 5, namely History Class, Potion class, Spell class, Weapon and combat class, and special class." Madame Claudia informs us, now I really feel I'm in a different world by that kind of classes.

"You will be taking history class until your  second year. The remaining years will only focus on honing your abilities and powers. Special classes on the other hand is a kind of class where you will be assign to a class, with a teacher who also possesses magical powers just like you. You will all be divided base on the magical powers you possess, this class is created to really help you focus on your magical capability through learning with the expert and experience teacher on that particular magical powers. Earth users on one class, Mind users, Water users and etc." Madame Claudia class is cut short because suddenly 3 students enters the room. The first two a pink head and a silver-blond head is walking at the same time with hooked arms, aws what a lovely sight tskk. Just on their back a dark skinned beautiful woman with brown hair followed.

" your three are too early for the break" said Madame Claudia with knitted brows.

" I'm sorry Madame, Urgent things came up" The silver-blond cooly said, I know him Alexter son of Mistress Igraine.

" same" the pink head said unconcern her arms is still hooked on the arms of Alexter, Dexie.

"Reasons. And you Missy?" Madame Claudia ask referring to the girl on the back.

"A bit lost? I'm sorry Madame" the dark skinned woman answered.

" Two Puissance, and a Haywood. I will let you all off this time since it's your first day but if this will happen again I will surely deduct it on your points. Especially you two, Alexter and Dexie even you both are from a powerful family I wont hesitate to deduct your point if you will continue this." Madame Claudia warned.

They just nob and find their sits at the back, Dexie still follows him like a dog. When the dark skinned woman pass on my sit our eyes me, she smiled at me then directly go to her sit. Weird, and a powerful family huh? Just what family they came from for Madame Claudia to called them like that?

"I think she's the other human from puissance that was accepted here" Ree whispered.

" oh really, maybe thats why" thats why she smiled at me.

She focus our attention to madame Claudia as she speaks again. "Lets continue, Let's review first the basic history of this world because I know some of you forgot this histories well in-fact it was teach to you when you all on your primary school."

"This world was created by the god of Creation and Light Lumiere, does its was named World of Lumiere. Everything on this world was created by him, even us. This world is devided into four lands, the Northrone Lands which is ruled by the King and Queen, it is the largest land and was hailed as a kingdom. The Palace and this academy is located on the Northrone lands, it is the center of the trade the center of all lands. Southrone Lands, Easthrone Lands and Westhrone lands are all under Northrone Lands Kingdom this lands was under the rule of the Lord and Ladies of the Land. Southrone Lands is the Lands on the sky, Easthrone Lands is the Lands of forests and Mountains on the East side and Westhrone Lands the lands on the water." Madame Claudia discuss. So there are just 4 lands? and a Kingdom amongst that.

" Lumiere created this world to be the epitome of peace and harmony through the existence of magics. And we does live like that, united as one by a single kingdom. But every person has its own greed, we won't develop without any ambitions rights? Thats why Vlad the god of Darkness take this as an opportunity to sabotage and destroy the world Lumiere created. He was jealous by what beauty Lumiere could create and would do anything to destroy it. He was jealous to his brother, thats why Vlad created shadows. They possess a person who were eaten by greed and ambitions and fuel their greed to the point of their destruction and also destruction of the people around them. We still don't have enough information about the shadows and what else they can do. The shadows were fed by the greed and evil intentions of a persons thats why a war broke out. Chaos were everywhere on the Lumiere that time, A great war between Light and Dark. Lumiere was furious to his brother because of destroying the peace of his world. Thats why he curse that whoever sided the Dark can't wield any elements except of fire. The possess were defeated because of the sudden change of element, they can't easily control and tame it. Some were even eaten by the fire and nothing was left except their ashes. A curse that casted for the Dark side to always remember that even they were in the dark they still have light within them." Madame Claudia tell the story of their world. Too much chaos and tragedy, I hope it won't happen again.

"But shadows are still here, especially on the dark forest. The dark forest is the place where the war start and broke out. Since then not a single life could be able to survive there except the shadows. For centuries they stay their because of the light circle that was casted by the first King surrounding the dark forest. But some shadows who are strong enough can still break through and get out to the circle specially when night comes in where dark is dominant. That time light circle is not strong enough to keep them in place. That's why chaos is still everywhere, and Vlad won't easily accept defeat especially a defeat from his brother. His shadows is still honing their powers and forming an army. A preparation for the war that will End all wars, and that's why the kingdom is also preparing through training you all to be prepared when that time comes." Madame Claudia finished her long story. A preparation and we will suppose to participate a war? Well the time is not exactly fix maybe it will occur on our next generation or maybe even next centuries. Arg! This world is so complicated.

"Madame, I have a question" a Dexie raise her hand.

" what is it?" Madame Claudia answered her.

" why does there are still people like us on the mortal world? Why does humans has always been accepted on this academy?" Dexie said while looking at me and the other human from puissance in disgust.

Ree hold my shoulders in a attempt to comfort me.

"Because Miss Dexie just like you just said they are just like us, The council of magic still consider them as a part of our people. When the war broke out some of our people use the portals to the mortal world to flee they prefer to live peacefully but as they flee into the mortal world some shadows also able to get through. We can't easily turn our back on our people, they are still people of Lumiere and their descendants on the mortal world are everywhere and in danger because the shadows there are still lurking everywhere ." Madame Claudia answered her heated question. Shadows? they talk of the shadows as if it is the most cruel thing on the whole world. Shadows ... is there a possibility that they could invade dreams?

"But of course not all humans are accepted here, this world is open to them.Yes. But some of their descendants, their bloods is now dominated by human blood and now possess a too little blood of Lumiere. Thats why they won't be able to wield any elements not with that kind of blood and because of that they can't survive here does they won't be accepted in here." Just like what Mark said, the test assessment. Possess weak abilities and wont be able to pass through.

" It's already time, hold you question for the next meeting. Class dismiss" Madame Claudia then take her exit.
