Chapter 13: 2 HUMANS

Cleo

I am now standing at the middle of a large room, specifically a dome because of its hemispherical ceiling. Floating crystal balls are everywhere, all showing different picture playing in it. Suddenly I heard gruesome screams, it is coming everywhere. I tried to cover my ears and close my eyes to stop it but it just became louder and louder.

It feels like the screams are all inside me. I can't really understand what they are saying, all I hear was just a chaotic screams of pain and misery. I can't take it any longer, I need to get out!

I open my eyes then suddenly shadows emerges from the crystal balls and it is now coming to me.

I tried to move, but I can't!

The shadows reach me

" Cleo, Cleo! Wake up" I snap my eyes open and I see Ree above me holding my two shoulders, I can't breath.

"Cleo, Calm down took a deep a breath. It's alright now it is just a bad dream" Yna said gently to comfort me and help me calm down. I notice that she is now sitting on my study table while looking at me worriedly.

I took  a deep breath to calm my erratic heart, Ree let go of my shoulder and sit on the side of my bed. She took a sight of relief.

I attempt to sit down but they help " It's alright I'm okay" I notice that I am now covered of sweat as if I just run a marathon. Yna handed me a towel and I use it to wipe the sweat on my face, I smiled at her grateully.

" what happened? You were screaming on your bed as if someone is chasing you" Ree ask worriedly.

"Just a usual nightmare?" I said hesitantly, I don't know what to say.

"Normal? You call that normal? You were almost out of breath screaming! Did those nightmares always happen to you" Ree ask worriedly.

I smiled in an attempt to sooth their worries " sometime, just sometimes"

I lied I want to say always but that would just fuel their worries even more.

They just look at me then sight. " Okay, but if you someone to talk or you will let your worries out and open up we will be always right here" Ree said then stands up.

Yna claps " Okay lets lighten up the mood, it our first day of class! It still 4:00 am we have so much time to prepare. Lets just take a bath first and change then head to the dining hall, what do you say?"

We all agreed.

We take our bath each. Shine, Tinkles and Blossom already prepare our uniforms so we just put it on. Shine tied my hair into a high ponytail while Ree and Yna they just let it flow. They are our Guardian indeed

We get out quite large notebook that is provided by the school and quill. Then at exactly 6:30 we get out. At exactly 7:00 am breakfast is serve on the dining hall so all student must be in there on or before that.

We get inside to the dining hall and into the Penumbra's table.

"Good morning Senior Mark and Clarice" Ree said cheerfully the moment she sees them, we also copied her.

They smiled "Good Morning, Just call us Mark and Clarice" Clarice also agreed.

We just nob and did not protest, then we took our sits.

"How's your tour yesterday?" Mark ask

"It was fun, Clarice is the one who give us our tour" Ree is one who talks for us.
