Chapter 32: EXAMS

"Okay class thats it for History, spell and potions exams for today please be prepare for the Weapon/combat and your special class exams tomorrow. That exam contain more on your physical capabilities" Announced Madame Claudia, She is are proctor for today's exams.

"Yes Madame" we simultaneously said.

"Good, you may now all go" she said the headed to exit with a bunch of recorded papers on her arms. The students also slowly leaving the examination room. 

"Hoo! That was exhausting" Ree stated, stretching both of her arms

"This is not half as exhausting than the exams for tomorrow" Renz said to her.

"Yeah I think so too, Arg hopefully my opponent could give me even slightest bit of mercy hahaha" I said to them.

"Uh-huh hahaha I don't really think so Cleo. Some of the students here will do everything to win and to raise their rank to the academy." Said Ymir

My eyebrows raise "Rank? What is it? I think I heard something like that but I just didn't give it a proper attention."

Yna looked at me wide eyed "you seriously didn't know that Cleo? Hahaha gosh you even last for a whole semester yet you didn't know the ranking system"

"The school consist of four rankings. From the lowest Elite, Noble, Royals, and a Magic Knight. Usually in a society Royals are the highest and on the top. But that is not the case here in the academy. This Academy is build to train Magic knights how to protect the kingdom and being a Royal doesn't give you any credit." Ymir seems serious for once.

Ymir is now thoughtful " though they seems have enough credit to begin with. Take Renz for example he's ranking boast to the Royal level now because him being a heir on his land, right Renz?"

"Well basically yes, Heirs like me and Alexter are instantly place to the Royal ranking. But it is not that unreasonable though like discriminating status, Ever since we are small we already hand a handful tutors so the school really can't place us to the newbie rank because interms of abilities we already on high up"  explain Renz finishing up Ymir's statement.

I nob "ohh so that why, I really don't have any idea that this academy basically circulates on ranking system."

"And hey Renz boasting now aren't we?" I said playfully

He grinned "Not really hahaha"

Yna usher us "lets go? We need a plenty of rest for the war tomorrow"

"War? Hehehe sorry I did not quite get that. Despite being here for so many months now it seems like I am still as unknowledgeable as before." I said shyly.

Yna smiled "nah its okay, Yes war Cleo unlike the exams today that has 3 exams for 3 classes tomorrow will be really different. It is a all out war as the seniors always phrase it, war stimulation to be exact. You can now apply all your learnings  in here from spells, combat/weapon and your abilities. Do everything just to win just like a war."

"I don't really know much of its details but just be prepare for a war" Yna finishes and smile as if she just said the most obvious thing in this whole wide world. Well war is not really uncommon on this world hays.

I was speechless and did not even know what to say.

Ree jump in-front of us " Lets goo? I am too famished let head to dinner hall for now"

I was able to pull myself out of my misery though. Just what will happen to me tomorrow? And that deal with the spoiled prince argg!

.....Three months ago the day before the deal.

"So are you ready Desire? You know you can't back out now its already too late. Tomorrow is that day right?" Prince Clint said smiling widely. Ohh he's having fun alright.

"Ofcourse I wont duh!" I boasted

He grinned "hahaha owws? You really think you can do it?"

"Ye- ss" I hesitated which makes him boast in laughter

I drop my oh soo high pride and give him a puppy eyes " okay fine I can't! I've been training various things nonstop from this  past weeks and you know that. I can't possibly hit the farthest target in this condition can I?"

I look at him trying to poke the softer side of his heart "would you be kind enough to extend the deal just until the exams? Or perhaps just make it on on the exams day Pretty pleasee"

His grin widened, ohh-ooh I have a bad feeling about this " Sure! I am a merciful handsome kind prince after all"

I look at him intently, hesitating. That was fast but nonetheless I will thank my chance " ohh yes you really are, thank you thank you" I smile widely.

"But not so fast missy hahahaa" he said mischievously

The smile on my face disappears "thats why I really think it was so fast and so unlike you pshh! What is it this time?"  

His eyes twinkles playfully " I just only had 3 condition you know, just three. First admit that you overly boasted on your abilities. Second you must appreciate and praise my greatness once in a while, just always speak my greatness and third! You must clean my dorm room once a week."

My eyes widened "hey you spoiled brat Prince! That too much I just wish for an extension  it is not that I back out from our deal and accept defeat!"

He smiled innocently "but ohh you already are defeated missy I will just give you a chance to redeem yourself. I wont even appear tomorrow for you to save face, a deal is a deal"

" so take it? Or leave it" he smiled sweetly.

Arg that innocent face of his! He could really fool too many people with that kind face " fine then! You spoiled prince"

"Opps nuh-uh remember always speak of my greatness hahaha" he is enjoying this!

I hold my temper and force a smile " yes your kind and great Prince Clint"

He smiled satisfyingly "thats more like it, remember on the exams day or else more punishment awaits."

"Oh! Almost forgot, admit it now come on hahaha"

I rolled my eyes "tsk! Fine I boasted too much just to save my broken pride happy?"

He grin deviously "happy! hahaha"

Arg! Every time I remember that cunning Prince I just want to to kick his butt and shove his ball into his month. Opps hehehe
