07; A Surge

    People never change, it was the thought that swirled around Percy inhumanly. At first, Percy found it funny seeing Tony hack Shield but finding out why he was hacking the agency made it all more serious. It intrigued him, and even Captain America who went off on his own to investigate. Percy was certain where the files we're located, and that had to be in phase two; the one place Percy always gave up in hacking for its high-level security. He may know how to hack but that didn't mean he was the best at it.

    Eating some of the blueberries Tony had near him, the adult waited patiently for the files to finish extracting. There will be fallbacks in this equation, due to when Fury finds out what they were doing. Fury may be his friend but he also made some stupid decisions. Percy found this situation to be one of them.

    Looking back on it, Fury has changed from the last time they spoke. All those years ago when he and Annabeth left Shield to start their family. Back then the director was more lay back and only talked shit about Tony Stark; the same guy who stands next to him now reaching out for the secrets that fury has.

  Just how Tony stated, Fury's secrets had their own secrets.

    Soon it seemed everyone found their way into the lab. In all aware that they all had their own reasons to be there. The situation only got worse when Tony and Steve back Fury in a corner.

    Rule number one, never back a lion into a corner.

   Percy should know, he had been that lion multiple times.

     Fury glared at everyone in the room before pointing towards Percy and Thor, "I did it because of them!" This seemed to have left a heavy burden on Percy's shoulders once he replayed Fury's actions, "Though it took Thor's arrival for me to realize it."

    Thor stepped forward and gave an angry bark, "My people have no quarrels with yours!"

    Fury stepped forwards as well, not backing down, "Well there isn't just 'your' people out there." Fury then looked at everyone in the room, "Shield realized we are at the bottom of the food chain when it came to outer space. Or even our own planet- " the director glanced at Percy, "And we made arrangements to change that."

    Thor folded his arms, "The only arrangements you are making is telling the other worlds you're ready for a higher form of war!" Thor then snarled angrily at the director.

  Steve seemed to become agitated as he groveled at Thor, "Higher-form." He questioned the god but was left answerless.

    Percy didn't have the heart to say anything. Once Fury accused him of being the reason Phase two existed, he had shut down. Yet even with the heaviness in his breath and the pull on gravity on his shoulders, that taunted him to just fall; he could feel the anger. The anger that was building up by the shouting everyone was doing. At that moment Percy couldn't stop himself from looking back in something that happened similar to this.

   And that was on the day Percy had lost his brother, for the gods couldn't stop themselves from lashing out at each other. Just like Banner who was having trouble keeping his emotions in check; resulting in him grabbing the scepter. Percy's powers seemed to react to his strain, violently, for the water on the Helicraft all started to shake.

Annabeth seemed to catch on to this for the cup she held tenderly in her hand was rapidly changing current. Standing up, many agents stared really uneasy by the panic that showed in the daughter of Athena's eyes.

Taking charge Annabeth used her leadership skills to take advantage of the situation, "We have a protocol DC3! Everyone move!" Annabeth quickly moved to make sure that every agent near her got the protocol.

     With the news spreading fast the demigod searched the helicraft for Percy.  She couldn't have let this happen on the helicraft, it wouldn't be able to take Percy's powers. Cursing herself for not taking more initiative to clam Percy, the blonde made way to any and every place the other Demigod could be.

    They reminded him of his family; His godly one. The family that sat on thrones and send their children out on wars. It was like he was having a flashback, but much worse. Percy's hands seemed to slowly reach up to his ears, blocking the sounds around him. He could still hear their muffled shouts, all the way to when it was silent; for they all watched Bruce carefully.

     With their weapons drawn on the scientist, none were aware of the ticking time bomb near them. All to caught up in the control that the scepter put in them. The emotions they felt were sky-high. Yet how would someone who bottled up theirs feel? The anger and sadness he pushed down in an empty barrow in his mind. It was agonizing to Percy, for all of it rushed out at him. Just like when his son died; just like when Nico Died.

    —We have to stop them! They're going to destroy a whole continent with their anger!

    "It Hurts."

   

    So, I've decided what pairing I'm going to do! But that doesn't stop me from letting Percy have moments with other people though. Since it'll be a while before this character gets introduced! So, I'll just call them emotional flings. This is my way of saying that it's unrealistic for them to only have one relationship with someone like other fanfictions do. I mean if it's a soulmate au then that works and all. But my Boi Percy needs some support man.
