Chap.4: Helping

3rd person POV
"See you tomorrow guys!" (L/n) waved at Tsukishima and Yamaguchi as She head her way to the gym.

"Wait up (L/-"
"Let her be Yamaguchi." Tsukishima said as he was looking at (L/n) in the distance.

Your POV
"Yo!" I chimed as I got in the gym.
"Oh (L/n) you came." Daichi said when they were about to start warming up

"Oh g-good morning!" I greeted the other members that looked to be 2nd years.

Short time skip
While I was sitting on the bench writing more information to the members of the club when I suddenly felt like two people where watching me and the others outside.

I stand up and walked over the entrance and I saw Kageyama and Hinata looking through the door since it had a little opening in the middle.

"H-Hinata? Kageyama? What are you guys doing here?" I asked them, they were startled and fell to the ground that I saw them looking.

"(L-L/n)-chan umm we're looking to see what you guys are doing.." Hinata said still flustered of what happened.

"S-See you l-later!" Kageyama said while dragging Hinata away from the gym.

"Wait.....up!" I blocked them from going outside the campus.

3rd person POV
"Do guys want me to help you tomorrow?" (L/n) insistingly said with eyes glowing with passion to help them.

The two boys looked away with a glowing red face can't directly look at the girl's (e/c) eyes.

"S-Sure..." the boys said simultaneously while looking down... *thump*

They suddenly looked up finding theirselves embraced by the girl, blushing even more. She ran back to the gym.

"Hehe...Great! Good luck practicing on your own!" She stopped and waved at them with a big smile.

As she was gone from their sight, they both teased each other of how red they were.

At the gym (your POV)
"Huh? Why are you guys here?" I asked Tsukishima and Yamaguchi

"We joined the club obviously." Tsukishima said nonchalantly, I glared at him for answering like that I mean I asked a proper question to give me a proper answer will you.

"We were about to tell you to wait for us but you ran away." Yamaguchi said to change the atmosphere, kinda, I then give a fake laugh and said.

"Is that so...so-sorry.." I give them a little pout and looked away.

Tsukishima's POV
She's kinda cute when she pouts to be honest. I stop thinking as I saw Yamaguchi blushing at her. Tch

Why am I even jealous at him its not like I have feelings for her.

"All right! Everyone warm up!"

"Hai!" Its not time to think about that I better warm up.

Short time skip (your POV)
I was writing down stuff about Yamaguchi and Tsukishima as I watch them practice with the others.

"Hey Yamaguchi! Receive the ball properly!" I looked over at Yamaguchi having a hard time with receiving, I knew that his not that bad at receiving, I should help him. I place my notebook and pen down the bench and walked over to Yamaguchi.

"Yamaguchi you should straighten your arms like this and bend down a little more." I gripped his arms to stiffen up a bit.
"There that's right! Daichi-san please spike one more time!"

As told, Daichi spiked at Yamaguchi but Yamaguchi got to receive it properly.

"Th-Thanks (L/n)-san!" He said with a hint of blush on his face

"Oy Tsukishima! Pay more attention you're not receiving properly as well! Oy (L/n)-san can you help this punk as well!" Tanaka was already full of Tsukishima's attitude, guess I should help as well.

"Sure!"

Time skip (3rd person POV)
Practice was over, everyone was cleaning the gym before going home except for (L/n).

"Sorry Suga-san, I need to help those two idiots for tomorrow's match."

"Its all right (L/n)-san we'll take it from here." Sugawara gave her a head pat telling her to go.

She ran out the gate of the school while Tsukishima was looking at her.
"Tsukki what's wrong?" Yamaguchi asked his friend while carrying some volleyballs.

"Its nothing" he said in reply

Time skip
"Hey gu- Woah!" She caught the volleyball right before it touched her face.

"I-I'm s-s-sorry (L/n)!" Hinata apologized immediately since he didn't receive the volleyball properly.

"Don't worry about it now let's practice!"

A few minutes later

(L/n) bought a water bottle from a nearby store since she forgot her tumbler.

Your POV
"Hey give it back!" I heard Hinata screamed from a distance. I sped up to see what was happening. When I finally got to them, I stopped in my tracks to see Tsukishima holding the volleyball up high so Hinata can't grab it.

It looks like Tsukishima has been teasing them for a while.

I ran at full speed, jumped, grabbed the ball and landed safely, well not really since I almost hit a tree.

I got myself balanced and looked back a little to see their expressions. I smirked at their looks because I can read them so easily.

'Where did she come from?, She's fast!, She can jump that high?!, She's looks so cool!' That's what they're thinking with those expressions.

"You guys should stop fighting. I know you guys are opponents tomorrow but you'll be allies after that, right?" I turned around with a big smile on my face and threw the ball to Hinata.

They were blushing at my statement but also speechless, I sighed and said.

"We should go home, especially you four, you guys need rest- Oh also whoever wins I'll treat them with meat buns! See you tomorrow!" I started biking my way out of there with a big blush on my face realizing I just did that.
