Chapter 6: Another Chance

Damiyla's POV

I never knew there were second chance mates until I touched his arm and fell in love all over again.

"No no no" I said aloud "this can't be happening again" I saw the pain in his eyes as he thought I was gone to reject him

"I'm not gonna reject you but you have to prove your different I don't want to go through what  already did" "I promise I will prove to you I'm nothing like that good for nothing "mate" of yours" he said.

"Good because I refuse to go through that all over again" I said

"Now can you tell me your name little mate?" he questioned.  "Yes, my full name is Damiyla Kennedy-Fay" I said "what's your's" "My full name is Tristen Cole Jones little mate" he told me

"What's up with the nickname?" "you don't like it? i think it fits you" he said with a wink making me blush. "I forgot to ask would you like to join my pack?" he said. "Of course where else would I go" I told him with a wink.

WOW I'm being more confident, never knew I had it in me. I guess my old pack was (A/N her old pack is called The Shattered Pack) holding me back huh?

My wolf Kaila was excited to meet the pack she could finally be the Luna she always wanted to be. Her thoughts not mine, I just wanted to be loved by my pack like I should have been. 

"How about we let you rest and tomorrow you can meet the pack little mate?" he suggested 

"OK iIll be ready" I told him confidently, I honestly couldn't believe where this courage was coming from but I loved it!

After he left I closed my eyes and finally got one of the best night sleeps of my life.

NEXT MORNING

STILL DAMIYLA'S POV

I woke up feeling refreshed for the first time in my life, I really hoped they we're nothing like my old pack "their not i can feel it"  Kaila said calming my thoughts. My stomach growled as soon as I seen Tristen coming in with a plate of breakfast for me. 

Um a girl could really get use to this I thought to myself my wolf purred in agreement. for once we were at peace, we didn't have to think about getting hit or when we were gone to eat. 

"Oh!, your awake here you go little mate" he said handing me my food. "Thank you, but could a ask you a question" I said curiously. "Yea sure, what's up" "what happen to your mate" I asked quietly "oh um she was killed by a rouge" he said 

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked" I stuttered "no no, you had every right to ask it ok really" he said 

"Now eat your breakfast little mate and when your finished you can shower my mom will give you some clothes before we get you some new ones then you can meet the pack, is that ok?" he asked

"yes that's fine" I said with a smile on my face "your really beautiful when you smile" he told me with a smirk on his face. "Ok I'm gone to go let you eat and my mom will be in here shortly have fun" he said with a kiss on my cheek.

After I finished eating his mother can in to give me my clothes we made small talk getting to know each other as I got dressed to me the pack.

We walked out the room i was in and tristen walked up and took my hand

"Come on let's go meet the pack" he said with a smile on his face
