Third person pov
The butler and master both made their way towards the garden. Ciel breathed in the fresh air and seemed to relax, being outside in his garden like this really did calm him. The teen went over to one of the benches in his garden and took a seat. He looked up at the sky and sighed, "It's a beautiful evening..."
"That it is, sir." The butler responded lightly. He had eyed the teen and couldn't help but feel a relaxation and yet twisting feeling inside of him from watching the display. He wanted to relax with the teen but he also felt this strong need to be on high alert to make sure no one came close.
Ciel's eyes had begun to shut, taking the scent in of all the flowers surrounding him, the sun hitting at him gently as it was just hitting that perfect golden hour. If anyone were to look at him now they could never imagine the amount of worries and pain he had etched into his soul. Soon enough the boy had fallen asleep right in that very spot.
Sebastian took notice at how Ciel's breathing pattern had changed, it sounded soft and very relaxed. His little master had fallen asleep. All the man could do was shake his head seeing how easy it was for the teen to show weakness in front of him. He quickly disappeared and came back with several white roses in his hands.
The butler began to carefully remove the thorns off each of the roses and then began to weave the stems together in order to create a beautiful flower crown. The man admired his work and then placed it a top of the master's little head. He began to smile at seeing such a beautiful image in front of him, times like these were when Sebastian truly loved his job and contract.
Despite Sebastian loving this sleeping boy he couldn't let him sleep. He clapped his hands loudly and made sure the boy woke up.
Ciel jolted awake and rubbed his eyes. "Sebastian, what the hell!?" He shouted, fueled with anger at having been disturbed in his slumber.
"You and I both know that it's not your bedtime yet and you must stay awake until then in order to rest well throughout the night." The demon responded with a smirk.
"As if I give a damn about tha-Hey..What's this?" Ciel felt the flower crown upon his head. He gently touched it and then removed it carefully to take a look at him. "Why is this on my head!?" He looked embarrassed.
"Now how could I be sure?" Sebastian chuckled with a devious look on his face. "Either way it suits you very well. It is your favourite flower after all, right?"
Ciel's eyes widened and then he looked away while placing the flower crown back onto his head. "Perhaps..." He couldn't tell whether Sebastian was being serious or not, it was always hard to tell when it came to that devilish man.
"Shall we head inside now?" The butler questioned, holding a hand out to assist Ciel.
"Yes, let's." He grabbed Sebastian's hand and stood up before letting go and beginning to walk towards the manor.
Once entering the manor Sebastian looked at Ciel. "I'm going to go and draw you a bath, head up to your room and I will come to assist you."
"Alright." Ciel muttered and Sebastian was gone in an instant. The teen walked his way upstairs and towards his chamber. He opened his door then shut it behind him, going towards his bed and then sitting down on it. He sighed softly as he knew he would soon be able to sleep, all he had to do was make it through that bath.
The teen reached up and took the flower crown off his head and began to inspect the creation, treating it as if it were the most delicate thing in the world. It really looked pretty for just being done with roses alone, Sebastian had made it and he knew it. He stood up and placed the flower crown onto his bedside table, wanting to keep it as it just seemed like a waste to throw away. He heads a knock on the door and quickly turned around. "Come on in!" He replied towards the knock. Sebastian opened the door and then entered the room, taking note of the flower crown he had created not having been thrown away.
"Your bath is ready, young master. Come with me." Ciel nodded and then followed Sebastian towards the bathroom. Once entered the man shut the door behind them and locked it so no one would interrupt or come in. The teen stared at Sebastian and tilted his head, waiting to be stripped of the clothing.
Sebastian went and swiftly stripped Ciel of all the clothing, and pulled off the eyepatch that the boy wore, leaving the teen naked and exposed. The teen was thin and healthy looking for his age. Most of his body seemed to be still developing as he was only thirteen but around his rear end he had a little more meat on him. The butler helped Ciel into the tub and then grabbed a sponge to begin washing at the boy.
Ciel loved the warmth of the bath, it helped his muscles relax and unwind, also he didn't have to do any work which made it all the more better. It was a little hard to imagine that his perfect butler three years ago had had an incredibly hard time drawing a bath.
Flashback
Three years ago after Sebastian and Ciel had made their contract, Ciel was very dirty and had many wounds. He had to be cleaned up. The demon had drawn a bath that was way too hot for the boy which had caused Ciel to complain and refuse to sit in it, the burning of the water irrigating his skin. The demon forced the boy to comply and sat him in the bath, scrubbing hard at his body and wounds which caused little Ciel to hurt and tear up.
Ten year old Ciel having had enough with it threw the sponge at Sebastian and shouted at him to get out so he could wash himself up.
End of Flashback
"You were so stupid back then." Ciel snickered. "The bath you had drawn for me was boiling hot, and you scrubbed so hard I had thought my skin was being peeled off."
Sebastian raised a brow and didn't look impressed. "You think I knew how to tell what temperature humans could withstand? And I was trying to make sure your wounds wouldn't get infected so I had been trying to clean them well. Keep laughing and I'll do it again."
"You know you won't because I'm your master." Ciel eyed Sebastian.
"Yes, yes..." The man sighed and dumped a bucket of water over Ciel's head. He began rinsing off the shampoo and soap off of the boy and once finished he pulled the drain of the tub. The man grabbed a white, fluffy towel and opened it up so Ciel could walk into it. The teen walked into the towel which then Sebastian wrapped around his small, frail body and dried him off. "It's a good thing you listen so well now, master~" The demon teased.
"Shut your mouth or I'll do it for you." Ciel rolled his eyes annoyed. Sebastian scooped the boy up in his arms, grabbed the eyepatch and carried him to the bedroom. Once there he sat the boy on the bed and set the eyepatch on the bedside table. He moved to the closet to grab Ciel's nightclothes.
He dressed the boy in the white oversized button up shirt and then dried off his hair. "Alright, young master it is time for you to head to sleep." Ciel nodded and went and got under the blankets, then Sebastian tucked him in. "Goodnight, my little Lord." He whispered and then blew out the candles in the room before exiting.
For the people who wanted to see Ciel wearing a flower crown and the scene brought to life a bit more, here you go. I have a headcannon that Ciel gets wavy-curly hair because of his mother, and that he mostly gets it that way on rainy and humid days:)
