Ciel's POV:
I was now working in my study quite bored with all the paperwork I had to finish. I was wanting to finish this before dinner so that damn demon would stop pressuring me. Stupid demon. Who does he think he is telling me what to do? Just as I was thinking this I hear a soft knock on my door and then, "Young master lunch has been prepared. It is time for you to eat." Speak of the devil.
"I will be there in a minute." I placed my things down and saw that I still had quite a lot of work to attend to and frowned. I would need to continue working if I was ever to finish all this work in time for dinner. "On second thought, I'll be having my lunch up here, Sebastian. Bring it here immediately I'm famished."
"Yes. Right away my Lord. I will be up with your lunch shortly." My butler's smooth voice rang out. I heard his footsteps become farther until I could not hear them any longer. I sighed and placed my head in my hands. Why does it seem that there's no end to this pile of work? It just seems to grow and grow by the second. I pick up my pen once again before getting started on my work again.

As I was working I suddenly hear the same soft knock come from my door that I had only heard three minutes ago. Without letting the male who I knew was on the other side say anything, I spoke up. "You may enter Sebastian." I then saw my crimson eyed butler walk in with my plate of food and tea. He gently placed the plate of food and the tea on my desk in an empty spot not near my work."For today my Lord, you have some wild salmon topped with beurre blanc sauce, along with some cooked asparagus and shrimps. For tea of course we have a brew of earl grey." Sebastian started to list what was on the menu for lunch today. I picked up my fork and poked at my food slightly.
"Do I have to eat the asparagus?" I looked up at the demon hoping he would let me leave the vegetables behind.
"Absolutely not. You must eat your fair share of vegetables or else you would not have a balanced diet. Now make sure you do eat everything on that plate or you won't be getting any dessert tonight." This man...He really is the devil using dessert as a way to threaten me. I looked to the side and grumbled a little. "Why must you be so moody young master?~" I heard the demon mock and I shot him a glare.
"You are excused Sebastian." I said in a serious tone to tell him to get out. I then saw my butler bow and saying,
"Yes my Lord." Before walking out of my study quietly. I looked down at my healthy lunch and then begun to eat it. I may complain slightly about the vegetables because I really dislike vegetables. Sebastian though seems to find a way to make them taste good by mixing them into certain foods. He doesn't need to try to mix the vegetables to make it more appealing to me, so then why does he go out of his way to do it...? Does he actually care about my dislikes? I scoff. What am I saying? Foolish me thinking such things.
I then start to begin to eat my lunch and my tastes buds tingle at the delicious taste. I soon finish up the meal and drink my tea before gently wiping my mouth off with my napkin. I set the plate aside as I begin to work once again not stopping for anything.

I look up at the clock on the wall to check the time and see that it was only an hour left until dinner time. I sigh and lean back in my chair stretching. Seems I finished ahead of time. At least now I can rest. I get up and walk out of my study and head downstairs. Once downstairs I make my way towards the back door and enter the courtyard, also known as the garden.
Once in the garden I go to a small shiny silver metal bench and sit down. I look at all the beautiful flowers but I stop and admire the white roses. I let out a soft sigh as I ended up just staring at the roses.
"Master?" I hear a young voice of a boy. I break out of my gaze and turn my head to the blonde gardener.
"Yes, Finny?" I asked not exactly feeling like talking at the moment.
"What are you doing out here? Mister Sebastian said that you had a lot of work to do." Finnian said softly.
"I finished early. I had lunch in my study so I could attend to my work while still eating." I mumbled.
"That makes sense master Ciel." Finny smiled big. "At least now you get a break." I nodded slowly before I remembered about dinner.
"Finny, what time is it?" I ask. Finny thinks for a moment.
"It was about 5:50 when I had just finished talking with Mey-Rin. It should be about 5:55 now." Finny said. I then quickly got off the bench.
"Sebastian must be looking for me. He usually comes to get me for dinner right about now. I better head on in." I then quickly start going back into the manor as I see Finny waving me bye. Okay...So he's a demon who can move to different places very quickly. The thing is, how to find Sebastian so he doesn't have to look for me. I think for a second and then quickly go running upstairs back to the direction of where my study is.
I soon see my study and start running quickly but of course I just had to make a mistake. I tripped on one of Mey-Rin's cleaning buckets and closed my eyes tightly. I waited for the impact but it never came. "Young master must you always get yourself into situations where you can get hurt?" I look up to see crimson eyes looking into my blue one and strong arms holding me up. If anyone were to see this they would think we were dancing and Sebastian had just dipped me down.
