ALEXIS' POV
12:10pm Sunday,
Tarintino residence

The smell of grilled meats filled the air in the backyard, as my dad cooked his 'special' burgers.

Vinny and Karson were already in the pool, so I was stuck helping set up the table.

My mom had a long table set up on our back porch, with pearl white plates in front of each seat.

"okay that's looks perfect, go ahead and join the boys, the Heffleys will be here soon".

I nod and go over to the wooden deck where all the beach chairs were.

removing my shorts and top placing them on top of the chair, next to my towel.

"Alexis switch on the spa before you get in" Vinny yells out, pointing to the box that was on my side of the glass fence.

I open up the grey box, looking for the switch for the hotub and heater.

The heat switch was already on, so I flick the spa switch on and a humming sound comes from the box indicating the spa was starting up.

I lift the lock to the pool, pushing the gate open. The boys climb up over into the spa that now had bubbles.

I climb in next Vinny sitting on the seat in the spa feeling the jet massage my back and legs.

"this is relaxing" Vinny says closing his eyes. I hum a 'yeah' closing my eyes aswell.

We sat in the water letting the water jets massage our bodies but are interrupted water being splashed on us.

Karson hurries to get out the spa knowing that we'd get our revenge on him as soon as we got out.

We all climb out chasing Karson down and Vinny grabs him putting him in a headlock.

"grab his feet" Vinny yells and I grabs his feet and Vinny then holds his hands.

We start swinging him in a hammock like motion, as Karson squirmed and yelled.

"on three" I yell out and we start swinging him higher.

"one, two, three" Vinny counts down and let's go of Karson on three sending him flying into the pool, causing a huge splash.

"holy shit that was huge" Vinny laughs and we high five each other and hear chatter coming from behind us.

The Heffley's were finally here and my mom was sending me and Vinny death glares.

"well were dead" I say to Vinny and he laughs nodding his head.

"yep, but it was worth it" he shrugs his shoulders chuckling.

I see Rodrick place his towel down on a chair and removing his shirt. My eyes travel down to his toned stomach and I mentally curse.

I look away before he catches me staring like an idiot and swim over to Vinny climbing onto his back, forcing him to give me a piggy back.

Greg jumps into the water joining Karson who was blowing water out of a pool noodle shooting water into Greg's face.

Sunddenly a wave of water splashes my back.

I jump off Vinny's back and turn to see Rodrick giving me a teasing smile.

I flip him off and sarcasticly smile at him. "aw c'mon it's just a bit of water" he says squishing my cheeks and I push him away from me sticking my tongue out at him.

"I gotta go I have work in 30 minutes shit" Vinny rushes out of the pool to go inside and everyone says a 'goodbye' to him.

"wanna go in the spa?" I ask rodrick and he stares at my face with a smile.

"what, is something wrong?" I panic, he shakes his head letting out a few light laughs.

He moves closer to me making me tense up. He holds each side of my arms, and stands there staring at me.

Butterflies beggin to erupt in my stomach and I mentally curse at myself.

Suddenly I'm picked up by him and thrown over his shoulder." Rodrick let me down", I hit his back continuously and felt his back vibrate as he laughed.

He finally puts me down and we're now in the spa, "you should've seen your face" he laughs and flip him off and red tint forming across my face.
