𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛:

ALEXIS' POV
7:16pm Friday,
Pump 'n' Go

I scan through the variety of snacks and grab a few and get myself a slushie.

I place my items onto the counter telling the cashier my number and pay for my gas and food.

"have a good night" the cashier tiredly smiles and I collect my change.

I head over to my car, hopping into the driver's seat and start up the car.

The engine hummed as it started up and I opened up a packet of sour patch kids, as I let the heater warm up the car.

I hear yelling from the other side of the car park and see a man chasing two boys.

I look closely and realized it was Greg and Rodrick.

I jump out of the car and frantically wave my arms around to get their attention.

they run up to me and we all climb in as I quickly reverse out of the carpark going a street.

I stop when we were out of his vision, "what was that".

"that was a prank gone wrong" Rodrick says out of breath.

I shake my head, "oh lord" I whisper to myself.

"well anyways I'm glad your safe" I smile and he returns one.

"I miss your brownies" Greg says with a smile, I giggle and watch as his eyes become droopy.

"I'll bring some around to your soon but it seems like you need sleep Greg" I see him slightly nod with half open eyes.

I start driving back to the car park and I feel Rodrick's stare on me.

"I know I probably seem like a big idiot tonight, but your like I don't know...my best friend" he rambles

"best friend?" my voice cracks and my heart drops as he said those words.

"yeah your just so nice and carefree, and your been like almost a sister to me" he smiles.

I nod, staring at the road, not knowing what to say back to him.

I don't know whether I like him or not and I don't know why I'm so confused.

I reach the carpark and park next to his car. they climb out and Rodrick opens the door for Greg.

"bye Rodrick, and don't get into more trouble you dummy" I smile weakly.

He chuckles nodding, "I'll try. see you Alexis" he waves me off and I drive off leaving the car park, with a million thoughts.
