𝚜𝚘𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛:

ALEXIS' POV
4:29pm, Tuesday,
skate park

the graffiti covered ramps still looked the same it was 5 years ago, when I first came here to learn how to skate.

"boy your trash" Perla laughs at her brother who had fallen off his board, while going down a ramp.

I join Perla and Kai, and skate down the ramp perfectly and making to the other side.

"show off" Kai snickers and I flip him off.

"atleast I can skate, you dumbass" I laugh and he picks up his board and skates down the ramp, reaching the other side.

he smiles widely and flips me off, which cause me to laugh.

I sit on the edge of the ramp next to Perla resting my head on her shoulder as Kai continues skate.

"remember when you used come down here with Kai every Sunday" Perla says and I nod.

she let's out a few light laughs, "he only did it cause he had a huge crush on you".

"really?" I ask surprised and she nods and rember the last time I had went skating with Kai.

me and Kai went down to skate and I had twisted my ankle from falling.

he carried me all the way home and never left my side that night and made sure I was okay.

"what about you" Perla asks and I cock an eyebrow up at her.

"do you like anyone?" she ask and my cheeks immediately turn a tint of red.

"I don't know how I feel yet" I mumble and Perla giggles poking my side.

"I'll just take that as a yes then" she says.

7:10pm, Tuesday,
Tarintino residence

as I skate upto my driveway I hear music blasting from the Heffley's garage.

I stop and listen to the music but I can't tell what song they're playing but it sounded pretty good.

I skate over to their garage and knock loud enough for whoever was inside to hear.

the garage door rolled up revealing a bunch of instruments and Rodrick and what I'm assuming his friends.

"how can help you Tarintino", Rodrick crosses his arms as his figure towered over me.

"just wanted to find out about the music cause it's pretty good" I say as try not to show how nervous I was.

"well come in and enjoy the music sweetheart" he smirks and I send him a faint smile and take a seat.

"also Alexis meet, Matt, Drew and Beck, my band mates" he points to them and I wave to them.

Rodrick takes his place at the drums and counts the band in and starts playing.

as they play I feel Rodrick's eyes on me and I turn my head to see him staring at me.

butterflies erupt in my stomach and I mentally curse at myself.

I look down still feeling his eyes on me and now my head was rushing with so many thoughts.

I was fully zoned out and I had drowned out the music and all I could hear was my thoughts.

why am I getting so nervous around him.

I don't like him.

do I?

"Alex!" Rodrick yells and I finally snap back into reality.

"s-sorry" I stutter.

"I've been trying to talk to you for about three minutes now where'd you go?" he chuckles and I blush.

"just thinking y'know" I faintly smile.
