ALEXIS' POV
5:12pm Saturday,
Tarintino residence

"Vinny give me my car keys back" I jump on his back tackling him to the ground.

"get off your ruining my outfit" he yells forcing me off of him.

he gets up dusting off the grass from his shirt and pants.

"why do you need to drive my car" I say emphasizing 'my'.

he huffs, "please I want tonight to go smoothly".

I groan giving in, "only if I get pizzas when you get back from the party".

he rolls his eyes, messing up my hair, "okay and I gotta go help set up so peace".

Vinny holds up a peace sign and  hops into the car driving off and I hear my mom calling me from inside.

I walk back into the big white house and see my mom in the kitchen.

"Mrs.Heffley called" she tells out and I walk into the kitchen taking a seat on a stool.

I hum a 'yeah' and she continues talking, "and she needed a babysitter on short notice, so your looking after Manny and Greg".

"why isn't Rodrick looking after them?" I ask confused as to why she wouldn't just get him to do it instead.

"she probably doesn't trust him or something" she shrugs.

"but your looking after them no but's" she says sternly and I nod not wanting to start an argument with her.

"and what time am I doing this exactly?" I say, picking at my nails.

"tonight at six, so better get ready now" she points to the watch on her wrist and I rush upstairs.

"thank you so much for doing this Alexis" Mrs.Hefley says thanking me again.

"it's no problem Mrs.Heffley, just make sure you enjoy yourself tonight" I send her a smile.

I wave her off as her and Mr.Heffley drive off, leaving me with the kids.

I walk back inside locking the door behind me and feel Manny tapping my leg.

he points to the kitchen, and mumbles a please, "okay, come here" I pick him up, resting him on my hip.

I check up on Greg who was watching tv, before I go feed Manny, "you doing okay there Greg?" I ask.

"yeah, I'm just bored" he says and I motion for him to follow me into the kitchen.

I place Manny in his high chair and Greg takes a seat at the table next to Manny.

I didn't have to cook any food since it had already been prepared and Rodrick was too busy with his band.

"after you eat your food you can help me make brownies and popcorn how does that sound?" I ask and Greg's eyes light up with excitement.

"movies after?" he ask with a wide smile.

"sure, why not" I shrug, let out a few light laughs.

I place the popcorn in a bowl and take it into the living room where the movie was set up.

Manny was eating some brownies, making a huge mess in the process and Greg was choosing a movie.

"you choose and start up a movie and I'll be back" I anouce and I head back into the kitchen.

I take the extra plate of brownies and make my way to the garage where the music was coming from.

I knock on the door and walk in and see Rodrick and his bandmates, "I made brownies" I smile.

I place the plate down on a table and they immediately start eating the brownies.

"this is amazing" one of them mumbles and I reply with a 'thank you'

Rodrick comes up to me poking my side, causing me to jump from being ticklish.

"thanks for the brownies" he says smiling widely and a tint of red appears on my cheeks.

"no worries but now I gotta go babysit so enjoy" I say leaving them but I can't help feel like stay with Rodrick.

I go back to the living room anyways brushing off my feelings and see the movie 'Toy Story' playing on the screen.

"Alexis your brownies are the best thing I've ever tasted" Greg says with a mouthful causing me laugh
