-WARNING not for little kids eyes. I know it may seem like nothing to some but just in case a little kid looked over the rating ;)

I woke up and looked at the clock. 3:22 a.m. it was in the middle of the night but I was wide awake. Billie was still lying on his back with his head turned away from me. I turned and put my back to him being careful not to wake him. I stared at the wall and started thinking of everything. Claire, Leon, even my own life. I knew there was no way of escaping with Claire without us dying. Maybe I should just come to terms with the whole situation and just buck up and ride through it only hoping for good things in the end. At the rate Claire's purity and soul is being expunged, there's no telling how much longer she has. She may not even make it to the end of the week, and there's absolutely nothing I can do. I started to tear up. Oh god what would I do without her if I make it and she doesn't. I could never open my curtains again to see her room, pink and wallpapered with Green Day posters. I sniffled and a tear ran down. I quickly wiped it then felt the bed move as Billie moved. I stayed very still then his arm rested around me and he eased his hand up till it was almost under my face. He pulled me to him and I felt him snuggle his head between my shoulder blades. I eased my head down resting my face by his hand. Another tear rolled out and stopped on top of his finger. He lifted it wiping it away then slowly rubbed his finger on my cheek. I just reached up and grabbed his hand holding it as I eased myself back to sleep.

I heard the sound of something dropping in the kitchen. I was alone in bed and it was 9 a.m.

"Ah shit!" I heard Billie. Jeez I don't see how he can keep getting up so early.  I wiped my eyes and stepped to the door leading to the kitchen. I leaned against the door frame as he picked up a measuring cup from the floor. "Oh no. I didn't wake you did I?" He looked at me.

"No no, the cup did." I pointed to it and smiled.

He smiled back. "Oh well that's good, at least it wasn't me." I nodded and he continued his cooking.

"So what ya doing there chef?"

He smiled flipping a pancake. "I figured I'd fix us breakfast to eat up here. We don't have to go downstairs." He took the frying pan to a plate and slid the pancake on to a pile of pancakes.

"Oh my gosh, you planning on feeding the rest of the village?" He had at least ten pancakes stacked up.

"Yea I kind of got crazy with the mix. I didn't realize it'd make that much."

    I laughed, "I see."

He pulled a chair out and gestured for me to sit. I sat and he laid a plate of eggs in front of me with a fork. He then sat a bowl of fruit in the middle. He sat down in front of me with his plate.

    "Well, dig in."

I smiled and we both forked up two pancakes and some fruit.

"so  I was thinking, we could walk in the garden."

"There's a garden here?" I asked then placed fluffy pancake dripping in syrup in my mouth.

"Yea. It's part of this hotel, so not many people can go there."

"Aren't you afraid I'll run away?"

He looked at me for a few seconds then shook his head. "I would hope you wouldn't. I wouldn't blame you if you did though."

"Sounds lovely." I smiled. I think I had him worried.

We ate our food then showered and got dressed. He led me down the hall and to the elevator. As we passed each big guy I just stared. We went out a back door in the lobby, and as the doors opened it was like stepping in to a whole new world. There were brightly colored flowers and beautiful vines leading up trees. There was a path way that led to a fountain in the distance.
