Jaemin smiles widely when he sees a certain short figure walk through the medical room door.

"Ten hyung!" The Thai man runs over to his injured friend, worry written all over his face.

"Jaemin, oh my god what happened to you?!"

Jaemin laughs and gently hugs his friend. "A lot happened."

"Yeah, clearly..."

"Is Johnny hyung here?"

Ten nods. "Mhm, he should be here in a few minutes. He's talking to Jaehyun." Ten sits on the edge of Jaemin's bed, holding the boy's hand tightly. "The poor guys haven't seen each other in forever." Ten rolls his eyes, laughing softly.

"So how's the wedding plan going?"

"Good. We wanted to do a smaller wedding, and then a grand honeymoon. You know?" Jaemin nods in understanding. "Anyways, we went for a cream colored theme. To keep things 'crisp and clean' as Johnny likes to put it." He uses air quotes, making the teenager laugh loudly.

"I can't wait for it. I'm so happy for you guys, finally tying the not."

"Yeah, Jaehyun should take notes." Taeyong says, walking into the room. "I have some good news Jaemin, Yunho said you might be released by the end of next week." He stands next to Ten, a hand on the short male's shoulder.

Jaemin sighs in relief. "Finally~ I've been so tired of this room. I can't even get out of bed. The nurses are hardcore, man." He softly glares at his legs that were hidden under the hospital blankets.

Taeyong shrugs. "Right well, you'll be out of here soon. So Ten, how are you? It's been a while."

"Indeed it has hyung. I've been good, busy but good."

"Dance taking up your time?" Jaemin asks.

Ten nods. "Pretty much. Tournaments are almost over and then my team moves on to the quarter finals."

Jaemin gasps happily. "You made it past the prelims?"

"Yup! We got some of the best dancers in the province, so it was a piece of cake." Ten waves his hand in front of his face dismissively.

"It's still exciting though!" Jaemin says, clearly passionate about the topic. "I wonder how my dance team is doing?"

"I heard they barely made it through the Junior preliminaries. Coach said it was harder without you."

Jaemin narrows his eyes. "That's a lie. I was not the best dancer."

Taeyong shakes his head. "No, but you were certainly up there."

"Oh! That reminds me!" Ten snaps his fingers. "I had another reason for visiting today. Your coach got in contact with me last week, asked if you knew anyone who could join the junior devision..."

Jaemin holds his chin in thought. "Well...there might be-" The door opens to reveal a certain Park Jisung with a sprite can in his hand. Jaemin smiles as if a light just went off in his head. "Jisung!"

The boy freezes in the doorway, giving his hyungs a strange look. "Yes?"

"You like dancing right?" Jaemin beckons the boy over, his smiles not fading.

Jisung nods hesitantly. "Yeah...I haven't taken many lessons but I know a few choreos."

"See..." Jaemin gestures between Ten and Jisung, eyeing them both.

Taeyong nods along, finally catching on. "Jisung does have a good natural rhythm, he would be a great dancer." The three boys all turn to the 16 year old.

Jisung raises an eyebrow, slightly scared by the looks his hyungs were giving him. "Wh-what...what are you talking about?"

Ten smirks. "Alright kid, how would you feel about joining a dance team?"

"It's so weird Jaeminnie~" Renjun whines over the phone, making the honey-haired boy laugh.

"Oh I'm sure it is." Jaemin tries his best to stifle a laugh, gaining a groan from the older boy.

"This isn't funny Jaemin. Doyoung hyung asked me to give him Kun ge's number! It's so awkward! Now Kun is picking me up everyday so he can see his fucking soulmate." Jaemin can practically see the pout from here.

"Awww it'll be ok Renjunnie, once they start dating for real then they won't need you as a messenger as much."

"God they're gonna get married someday too. KIM DOYOUNG IS GOING TO BE MY BROTHER-IN-LAW JAEMIN!"

Jaemin winces and pulls the phone away from his ear, Renjun's shouts far too loud for his still unstable brain. "Quiet yourself Injunnie hyung, you'll make my ears bleed."

"Sorry, sorry...How are you by the way?"

Jaemin smiles. "I'm doing a lot better. They're letting me out of the hopsital in a few days, but I'll still be lying in my bed at home. Plus Yunho hyung will visit every weekend to see how I'm doing." He sighs. "Things are gonna be pretty different, at least for a little while."

"It'll be ok Jaemin." Renjun comforts his friend. "You'll be back in school before you know it. Sure things might be more restrictive for you, but life won't change all that much. You'll still be with us and all our mischief."

"Good, I can't have you guys jumping off bridges without my knowledge." Jaemin says sassily, making Renjun laugh warmly.

"You'll be with us again in no time. Just you see Jaemin...Plus, graduation is in a couple weeks."

"God can you believe it Renjun? We'll be going to college in just 3 months. That's fucking insane." Jaemin shakes his head in disbelief.

"Yeah, tell me about it." Renjun chuckles dryly.

"Are you going back to China for college?" Jaemin asks, his voice wavering. He didn't want Renjun to leave, even though they had only become friends this year, they were already quite close.

"No, don't worry. I could never leave you guys, y'all would set your dorms on fire. Plus who would take care of Jisung and Chenle?"

Jaemin nods. "Very true." He pauses when his nurse comes in with a cart full of food, medicine, and syringes. "I gotta hang up now hyung, but I'll call later on, ok?"

"Alright. See you soon Jaemin. Get stronger, ok?"

Jaemin laughs. "You got it hyung." He ends the call and turns to the nurse, sighing softly.

She gives him a pitied look but picks up a syringe either way. "Ready for your medicine?"

"Let's just get it over with." Jaemin says, frowning. He was tired of being in this stupid bed all the time. He had no idea what was going on in the world except from what his friends and family told him. Which honestly wasn't a lot. He just wanted to get out of here.
