Donghyuk arrives at the playground with a bag of chips (doritos of course) in his hand, and two sprite bottles in the other. He climbs the stairs leading up to the top platform of the playset and sits down next to the pink haired boy.

"I didn't even tell you I would be here hyung."

"I had a feeling."

Jaemin hums in response and grabs the sprite Donghyuk was handing to him. "How are you and Mark doing?"

"Good, our one month is coming up. He told me he has something special planned." Donghyuk says, looking up at the starry sky.

Jaemin sighs tiredly. "That's nice..."

"What about you?"

"What about me.."

Donghyuk sits up and turns to his friend, who only peers at him through the corner of his eye. "Jaemin, how are you?"

"....Does it matter?"

"Yes, it does Jaemin. You've been in an episode for almost a month now, I'm really getting worried. So are Taeyong and Jaehyun. We all are..."

Jaemin sits up as well, his head facing his lap. "I'm sorry, I don't want to worry you guys...but I just can't find it in myself to feel better....it feels like a piece of me is missing..."

Donghyuk nods and puts a hand on his shoulder comfortingly. "I'm sorry Minnie.."

"Me too."

Markiepoo:
I was talking to him yesterday...he seemed better, less broken,, i dont know../happier/ i guess

I think they need to get back in contact

Hyukie:
Jeno seems to finally accept that Jaemin is his, even if he feels guilty still
Jaemin on the other hand....im not sure but i think that since he already felt something for Jeno and didnt deny it, the loss of contact has really affected him
I mean,, he's always had an issues with depression or at least episodes of it
But this has been happening for a month and he doesnt seem to be getting better, heck he's getting worse
Its worrying me Mark
And i think the fact that he hasnt been with his soulmate is one of the causes, if not /the/ cause

Markiepoo:
That....makes sense
I remember when you werent here for that week because your family was on vacation
I felt horrible, so sad and just...not myself
But that was only a week
These two havent been with each other for over a month
Do you think we should talk to them?

Hyukie:
maybe...
I just want jaemin to be ok again
You guys may not see it, but i do
His smiles arent genuine anymore, his eyes are sparkling anymore
he's ....not jaemin

Markiepoo:
Im sorry babe...we'll be there for them, ok? It'll all be fine, please dont worry
I dont like seeing you so sad
..do you want to come over?

Hyukie:
yeah...

Markiepoo:
Alright....see you in a few

"Jaemin, dinner's ready." Taeyong pokes his head into his brother's room. A blob of blankets shifts on the bed, a voice calling out:

"Not hungry.."

"Jaemin....you haven't eating a full meal in a really long time. You're becoming thin..please eat." Taeyong stands in the doorway, worry evident in his voice.

"..."

"All right...just promise to at least have a small snack..please?"

"Ok."

"Thank you Jaemin.." Taeyong sighs and closes the door, heading back downstairs.

Jaehyun looks up from the table. "How is he?"

"Not any better."

"I'm sorry hyung."

Taeyong smiles at Jisung. "It's alright, I'm sure he'll be better soon." The other three smile sadly and they begin eating. Jaemin's seat is still empty.

"Hey Jaemin." Donghyuk swings his arm over his friend's shoulder.

Jaemin smiles at him. "Hey. What's up?"

"Not much, just had a math test." The two boys wander to the lunch room, sitting down at their usual table.

"Oof, did you do well?"

"Doubt it. That test sucked ass."

"Mrs. Lee is known for her harsh grading..." Jaemin chuckles.

"Yeah." Donghyuk rolls his eyes. "She's an ass too, which makes it worse. Like, I never understand why people who hate kids want to become teachers. It boggles my mind." He raises his shoulders in fake surprise.

"Fair point." Jaemin smirks and points his finger at his friend. "But," he shrugs, "At least you don't have Mr. Nam for science...oh my god he is the literal devil." Jaemin holds his head in his hands as he remembers that he has science next period. Donghyuk laughs and pats his friend's shoulder.

"How are you doing by the way?"

"Fine."

"Really?"

"..."

Donghyuk sighs. "You'll get better, I promise."

Donghyuk lays his head in his boyfriend's lap, sighing loudly. Mark runs his hands through Donghyuk's hair comfortingly. "It'll be ok Hyukie...They will be ok."

"I know...I'm just scared. Jaemin, he isn't ok Mark. He doesn't look ok. We all know it, but he still fakes it. He's so selfless, he doesn't see his own worth when he gets like this. You know what he said to me?" Donghyuk tilts his head to look up at Mark.

Mark smiles down at the boy in his arms. "What'd he say?"

"He said 'If I have to fake a smile for them, I will do so. If I have to be their light when I can't have my own, I will do so. If I have to protect them from the world, I will do so. Even if no one does the same for me, I would do it for anyone else in a heartbeat'." Donghyuk sighs. "He's a real angel Mark...I just want him to be better...this has been going on for so long, I really need him to be ok. I need my best friend back. I need my Jaemin back."

The two boys lay there, one crying silently, the other soothing him. Both worried, but both hopeful that their friend's would be ok.
