CHAPTER NINETEEN
"Uh, you realise your missing an eye, right?"AS THOR TOOK OUT A LARGE assortment of the undead army, the Ravengers regrouped, including Valkyrie who was looking way more confident in herself and determined to defeat the being that stole away her friends and family.
Animalia soared back up to the bridge, landing gracefully besides Loki, her being slightly surprised at his presence, with her clothing and hair still drenched, water droplets littered over her smooth skin. She leant on her right leg more then her left, the pain still there if she applied pressure or over used it her left.
As Thor approached them, the powerful blue glow in his eye fading for the time being, he nodded to his brother. "You're late."
Animalia forced herself not to gasp as she noticed the gaping hole wher his eye was supposed to be, the dry blood being evident around it. "Uh... You realise you're missing an eye, right?" she pointed out, resting a hand on her hip and using the other to point to him.
His single eye dropped down, examming Animalia's own appearance and noticing the slight quiver in her left leg and how she was leaning on her right. It didn't take him long to notice the dry blood surrounding a tear in her pants. "And you have a hole in your leg."
Animalia's lips pressed into a straight line before she did a small nod.
"This isn't over," Valkyrie huffed as she jogged to the group, leading them forward to where Hela would be, her cape swaying delicately in the breeze.
"I feel so out of place right now," Animalia admitted casually, leaning back and eyeing the capes Loki, Thor and Valkyrie wore. Of course, she didn't get one and was dressed more casually then ready for a brawl.
"I think we should disband the Revengers," Thor spoke up, glancing down the line to see all three of them paying attention.
Animalia and Valkyrie nodded in unison, both of them panting from their overuse of energy suddenly comoared to what was once their normal lives back on Sakaar.
As their eyes diverted back to the front, Loki pointed at the Goddess of Death, who was approaching with long and confident strides. She looked unharmed. "Hit her with a lightning blast!" Loki suggested through his heavy breathing.
"I just hit her with the biggest lightning blast in the history of lightning. It did nothing!" Thor exclaimed, motioning to where Hela walked down the smooth pathway.
"We just need to hold her off until everyone's on board," Valkyrie suggested, her eyes never moving from the goddess ahead.
Thor quickly shook his head. "It won't stop there. The longer Hela's on Asgard, the more powerful she grows. She'll hunt us down," he explained eith anger and frustration lacing every word. Animalia hesitantly looked up at him with a frown. "We need to stop her here and now."
