After Christmas break, Eva was technically depressed. She knew she was gonna die. How could she enjoy life? Gym surely didn't make the experience better. There was a situps test. And Eva was partnered with Red.
"You don't....*pant* seem good.... *pant* Eva, what's wrong? *pant*" Red asked in between her sit ups. Eva sighed. Should she tell Red?
"I can't really say...at the moment..." Eva said quietly, watching her friend do situps. Red nodded and kept going. Eventually Red immediately snapped up so quick.
"Hey! We can hang out after school if that's okay with you!" Red exclaimed.
"....." Eva stayed silent for a moment. She then looked at Red, smiling. "Sure," Eva said quietly, the quiet seemed to have a hint of...enthusiasm.
"Yaaaayyy!" Red exclaimed, giving Eva an humongous hug.
"If you need to rant or vent, do feel free to speak to me! I'll be here!" Red exclaimed, smiling. Eva just smiled.
"Red....Red....Red... oh god...you're so nice...." Eva suddenly teared up and tackled Red with a hug. Red just happily wrapped her arms around her friend and humming, rubbing Eva's back.
"Its okay it's okay..." Red said softly, standing up to escort her friend to the restroom.
"Let it aaaalll out," Red said, splashing cold water on Eva's face. "We can both make up the tests later," She chuckled.
Eventually Red stopped and Eva sniffled. "Y-yeah..." Eva said quietly, giving Red another hug.
She wasn't gonna tell Red what's wrong with her. At least probably not now. "I'll be okay, Red, thank you," Eva said, smiling.
"Yaaaay! You're smiling a lot more!" Red exclaimed, patting Eva on the head. Then the two began heading back to the gym.
They were now...playing kickball? Eva's eyes lit up. "Oh my gosh! I love this game!" She exclaimed. Red smiled at Eva.
"Well let's just sit out for now," Red said, going on the bleachers. Eva followed behind.
"So! Have you ever talked to your old friends?" Red asked.
Eva paused. Old friends..? Those are mainly Troy and Gia. Eva always thought it was gonna be Troy, Gia, and her against the world. But fate had other plans. "I guess....I never really thought about trying to contact them...." Eva said quietly, watching the students play. "They probably are having so much better....lives.. having so many friends....I call a lot of these people here my friends...but some of them I never really spilled my guts to them....I miss them... " Eva said quietly. Red blinked.
"Maybe you can try and contact them again!" Red exclaimed. Eva looked at Red, than started to get nervous.
"I-I don't know I-I wouldn't want to b-bother t-t-them..." Eva stammered.
"Oh come on! I'm sure they'll be happy to hear from you again!" Red exclaimed. There was a moment of silence.
"Maybe...I can try..." Eva mumbled quietly.
"AAAAAA!" Red exclaimed, tackling Eva with a hug. So many hugs like jfc.
"Okay okay calm down," Eva said, gently pushy push pushing Red back in a friendly manner.
"Sorry!" Red exclaimed, chuckling.
Then the two watched the game in silence. Kenny was just....quiet. He seemed to try and take out his emotions on a simple game of kickball. Kenny was just...moving too rough with the crowd. He wasn't even just...kind. Kenny didn't respond to anyone. He just was off in his own little world.
"Kenny! Toss it!" Stan yelled, waving for Kenny to toss the ball. Without looking, Kenny tossed the ball in Stans direction, and Stan caught it. He glanced at Eva whom was still sitting in the bleachers before continuing the game.
The entire school day it was like the guys were giving Eva glances, at least the guys that was at the civil war battle during Christmas break. Eva technically had avoided the outside during Christmas break. Like quarantine eeeyyy.
During gym class, Eva then somewhat felt...strange.
Ever since she knew she was gonna die, Eva felt this overwhelming feeling. It was almost as if she was gonna drop...any monent.
It was kinda...relaxing? Who knows. Eva almost felt on the brink of snapping. After moving from some horrible event, to knowing she is gonna die, when she thought she was gonna straight up die during that.
The scars. Never. Go. Away. She wondered how Gia and Troy were doing. Nevermind, she was worried on Gia, the more energetic and unstable one than Troy.
But how was Gia's mental state now?
Eva shuddered at the mere image of how Gia could be like now. She loved her friend dearly, but she sometimes truly has concerns for that Indian lady.
Troy? Not so much. Calm. Collected. Done with everybodys shit. Just as we speak he may be growling at the very person who's doing idiotic shit. Known to be 'The smartest'. His intelligence is very...unnatural.
The entire school day was just...boring for Eva. She avoided a lot of people. Mainly except Red. Red is precious. And Wendy too. She's always nice to talk to.
When Eva was at her house. She stared at the ceiling, thinking about the conversation her and Red has in gym. Eva sat up, pulled out her phone, and installed messanger, quickly getting back on it after what seemed like forever.
She had three chats there.
Gia Jones.
Troy Russel.
And the two in a group chat with her.
She went to the group chat she had with em. Eva was surprised she even remembered her old account on messager. Maybe just pure luck. And good memory.
Eva, with a shaky hand, and a very increased heartbeat. She began typing.
'Its been a while, Hello! How are you guys?' Eva sent.
The first 10 minutes went by. Nothing.
Another 10 minutes went by. Still nothing.
By the time a half an hour passed, Eva's phone beeped. It was a text in the group chat.
Troy: 'It really has been a while. It's not the same with you guys there and me being angry at ppl...'
Eva then gasped. "T-troy...." her tears began falling. She began texting.
'Troy I missed you and Gia so much I really did I'm so sorry I couldn't talk to you I wasn't sure on what you'd think 😢' Eva sent.
Troy: ' Gia certainly is...something' He sent.
Meanwhile, where Gia is.
Gia was grabbed by her shirt and then slammed against the wall. "What the fuck did you say you little bitch?!" One of the seniors growled. Gia's phone rang. She looked at. It was a text from Eva. Gia began laughing.
"WHAT IS SO FUCKING FUNNY?!" He yelled.
"You are so fucking screwed! Ahahahahahahahahahaha!" Gia continued to laugh.
'Gia's probably having fun' Eva sent, still kinda worried.
'Yeah, probably' Troy sent.
