Alexis's POV
Right now, Val and I got back to the scrapyard after a little walk in the woods. When we arrived, Grimlock, in his Dino form, was telling everyone what happened when the Autobots captured the Decepticon. Yeah, they were on a mission while we were gone.
"Whoo, and Bisk is tossing us around with his giant claws. I mean, whoosh! Whoosh! Ha, ha, ha. So I nailed him with the Dino Demolisher. Pow! It was-- Heh, heh. It was epic," Grimlock explained.
"Hey, guys. What did we miss?" I asked as we walked in. I then saw Pup run towards as and jumped into Val's arms.
"Nothing much. All you missed was Grimlock telling us the story of them capturing the Decepticon. It sounded exciting. I think hearing about what all of you do is the most filling--billing--thrilling part of what I do. Gosh, I'd love to get out in the field. In a strictly non-confrontational capacity, of course," Fixit said.
"Rule 669-B. 'Mini-cons must remain at their duty stations at all times,'" Strongarm said as she read it off of a holographic article.
"Doesn't seem like you were built for the tough stuff anyway," Sideswipe told him. This made Fixit sad.
"Uh, look, that's not to say you don't play a key role on our team," Bee told Fixit.
"Just not as key as lead tailpipe kicker. Am I right? Am I right?" Grimlock said, only to get no response from everyone around. I actually felt bad for Fixit.
"Well, e-excuse me," Fixit said as he wheeled away from us. I then felt a nudge from my sister.
"What?" I whispered to her.
"Now's your chance," Val told me.
"Chance for what?" I asked her.
"Go to him. He needs comfort," Val told me with a smirk.
"But, I cant just, uh... I can't-- Ugh, fine," I told her as I started to follow Fixit.
Val has been bugging me to talk to Fixit lately. She said that I want to have a "good relationship" with him.
I then follow him until I end up at the command center. I then see him doing some research.
Well, this is it. Here I go. Taking my first few steps towards him. Why did I even agree to do this? Why am I talking to myself like this?
Hey, Fixit. Are you okay?" I asked him. Great going.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" He asked me.
"Well, I saw your expression back with the others and you looked sad. I just wanted to make sure you were alright," I told him. He didn't say anything. I could tell he was still sad. So, I decided to tell him one of my flashbacks I had with the Autobots.
"You know, you're not the only who felt useless. About a year after Val, Pup, and I first met the Autobots, Optimus wouldn't let us go with them on a mission. That made Val and I think we were useless. But, after patience and training a lot, they finally let us go with them. We were actually pretty useful. So don't think just because you don't go with us on a mission doesn't mean that you'er useless. You are very useful to me," I told him. I actually blushed at the last part I said, and I could tell that he was blushing as well.
"Thanks, Alexis. I think you're right," Fixit told me with a smile. I then smiled back at him. Our thoughts were then interrupted by a beeping noise coming from Fixit's computer. It was a Decepticon life signal.
"Decepticon, a few miles away," Fixit told Bee.
"Let's roll and recapture," Bee told everyone. I could tell that everyone didn't like how he said that. At least he keeps trying. "Yep, yep, not feeling that one, either. Come on," Bee said as he transformed and we all followed Bee's lead.
