Battlegrounds: Part 2

Alexis's POV

"Who is Megatronus? Is he the great evil you came to Earth to face," Drift asked as he and Bee stood up.

"Optimus Prime...is here," I heard Bee say.

"Fixit, is this Megatronus also known by the name Megatron?" Drift asked Fixit through the comm link.

Just then, a hologram of an article appears in front of me from my watch as it gives info about Megatronus.

"No. Megatron named himself after Megatronus. Megatronus was one of the original Primes. But he turned on his brethren, destroying Solus Prime," Fixit explained through the comm link as Val and I read off of the article from my watch.

"That's how powerful Megatronus is. We need to attack now!" Bee told us.

"I agree," Drift agreed.

But Bee didn't get far after Optimus spoke to him.

"Bumblebee, free your teammates. I shall contend with Megatronus," Optimus told him. I then look for them and find them tied up against the statue.

And to m surprise, Windblade was there as well. I didn't know she came back.

"But, Optimus, my team can--" Bee got cut off by Optimus.

"Go, Bumblebee," Optimus told him.

"Yes, sir," Bee said.

Bee, Drift, Val, and I then started running towards Sideswipe, Strongarm, and Windblade. But what I saw shocked me.

Megatronus fired a huge laser and was going towards Bee and Drift.

"Bee! Drift! Look out!" I tried to warn them, but it was too late. The laser had already hit them.

Val and I then run towards them to make sure they were all right.

"Bee, are you okay?" Val asked worriedly.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Go help the others," Bee told us.

Val and I nod in response as we continue running towards Sideswipe, Strongarm, and Windblade.

Once we made it to them, I heard a loud noise coming from behind us. I turn around and see Optimus laying down in the water, looking like he was in pain. I then see Megatronus going towards a staff.

It looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on it.

I then heard Windblade grunting as she tries to get out of the ropes tied around her.

"Windblade, wait! You can't fly off and save the day without me," Sideswipe told her.

"Sorry, Slick. If Bid Nasty wants that staff, keeping him away from it is job one," Windblade stated.

I then run to her.

"Let me help you," I said as I used my powers to walked up the statue beside her and used my Cybertronian eye to shoot a laser at the ropes. This then broke the ropes.

Once Windblade was free, she jumps and transforms into her jet and flies towards Megatronus as she shoots lasers at him.

"Alexis, hurry. Free the others," Val told me.

I nod in response as I use my Cybertronian eye to shoot lasers at the ropes and set Sideswipe and Strongarm free.

And just as I freed them, Drift shows up beside us.

Strongarm then looks in Optimus' direction and sees Bee walking in the water towards him.

"What's the lieutenant doing?" She asked.
