Chapter I [A New Programme & A Promise With Ambition To Hold]

(Author's Note: Kiriwo will not be using his Keihan-ben dialect in paragraphs and will only be doing so when he speaks.)

Amy Kiriwo's P.O.V

  It was just a normal day at Babyls for me. I was just walking to the Third-Year Tower from Battler Tower nearby, where I was suddenly pulled by my uniform collar from behind. I fell down with my butt on the floor and looked up to see two of my classmates, who usually bullied me when teachers or the Student Council were not around. "'Sup, Amy? You got a bad hair day?" Mocked one of them ruffling my hair. "C'mon, please stop that." I politely said as I still smiled as always.

  My other classmate took my bag and tried to peak at it. I tried to take it back and said: "Hey, if you need to borrow somethin', you could've just asked." But they weren't listening and started playing catch with my bag. "Hey! Stop that!" I begged, "That's my stuff you're holdin' there!" "Nah, we're gonna have some fun with it first." Said one of them. I ran to the bully who was about to catch my bag, in my attempt to retrive it, but he elbow-punched me away on my left rib. I coughed up blood from the attack as I thought: "I know I've gotten used to being bullied 'cause of my rank 'n all, but... Somethin' makes me so angry about them now." I was sure that I would never be able to get my bag back, until I heard the sound of footsteps that were as clear as President Ameri's heels.

  "Honor students Ryūko and Iruma-sama has arrived!" Said a familiar male voice. "A hall! A hall! Make way!" Called an elegant female voice. Those voices belonged to top freshman students, Asmodeus Alice and Dame Félin Lavande. Asmodeus-kun is the son of Asmodeus Amuryllis, Thirteen Crowns' Lord of Seduction. Dame Lavande is the first female knight in the Netherworld and is the daughter of Sir Félin Sombre, another famous knight. There in between them stood a female student with sharp red and blue eyes, a gothic uniform, and wavy admiral blue hair. That was Suzuki Ryūko, and behind her stood her brother, Iruma.

  "Crap! It's Ryūko-chan, the Chair-Demon's granddaughter!" Whispered a different student in the hallway. "She'll be like President Ameri, having her eyes on us, if we do something bad!" Whispered another demon. My bullies were still playing around with my bag as I tried to get up, but I coughed up blood again from the recoil of the elbow-punch. "Hey, you two!" Addressed Ryūko-chan. My classmates turned around and flinched when they saw her stern expression with her multiple eyes showing. "W-We're sorry!" Apologised the two, "S-S-Save me!!!" One of them threw my bag in the air in fright and Ryūko used her silk emitted from her right wrist to bring my bag to her before taking it off. She walked up to me and took her hand out. "Amy-senpai, are you alright?" Asked Ryūko. "Oh, Ryūko-chan. I'm alright." I replied as I took her hand and she helped me up, "Thank you so much. For a minute, I wasn't sure what I should do." "Are you hurt, Kiriwo-senpai?" Asked Iruma. "Yo! Kiriyan-senpai! Hi!" Greeted Valac Clara, the girl with green hair. "I'm fine, Iruma-kun. Heya, Clara-chan." I reassured Iruma and greeted Clara, "Though, one of them laid an elbow-punched my in left rib." "Senpai, you need to make sure your rib isn't broken." Said Asmodeus. "Would you like me to escort you to the infirmary?" Asked Ryūko. "Let me see-" As I touched the area I was injured, I coughed up blood again and fell down. Ryūko caught me before I could reach the floor. "You're badly injured, Amy-senpai. Let me escort you to the infirmary." Suggested Ryūko. "Yeah, that would be nice." I said. "Iruma, Asmodeus-san, Lavande-san, Valac-san. If Kalego-sensei enters our classroom, tell him that I'm escorting Amy-senpai to the infirmary." Instructed Ryūko as she flung my left arm over her shoulders and her right arm supported my back.

  "Well, see you later, Onē-chan." Said Iruma-kun as the others followed him. "Bye-bye!" Waved Clara-chan. "Keep your guard, Lady Ryūko." Said Lavande-chan. "Stay safe, Amy-senpai." Said Asmodeus-kun.
