Suzuki Ryūko's P.O.V
It was the start of a new week, and probably the most interesting one. Why? The Master & Servant Programme was today! I was really excited that I could really show it at home, at least not in front of the rest of the school. After fixing my uniform, I opened my room's window and said happily: "Good morning, Netherworld!" Some of the birds that went by made some sweet chirps as they flew passed the window at me, as if they were greeting me back. "Alright, today's the day I'm staying at school for four weeks and I get to spend the day with my Master." I said as I grabbed my bags, luggage and instruments (shrunk down with a spell and in her pockets) before happily exiting my room.
"Oh. Good morning, Onē-chan." Greeted Iruma, who was out of his room, "You're a lot gung-ho than usual, first thing in the morning." "Ah. Good morrow indeed, brother." I greeted back, "I simply cannot silently attain my excitement of becoming a servant today." "Hahaha. I can see that." Laughed Iruma, "Let's go now. Don't want to keep Grandpa waiting." We went off to the dining room and I had my bags at the side, my school bag on my luggage bag. "Good morning, Grandfather/Grandpa." Greeted me and Iruma. "Good morning, Ryūko-chan and Iruma-kun." Greeted Grandfather back cheerfully as we sat down. Opera then came around and greeted: "Good morning. Here is your Hell Gray Tea." After he served us tea, Iruma and I kindly thanked him, which made his cat ears twitch happily. "Ryūko-sama. Since you are to stay at school during the programme, do not hesitate to summon me if anything happens." Said Opera to me. "Thank you for informing me this, Opera." I said. We both ate our breakfast and Grandfather told us: "It's the start of the programme today. I hope you two will find it fun and something to learn from." "We will." Said Iruma and me. After finishing up breakfast, we heard Asmodeus-san, Lavande-san and Valac-san outside, going to escort me and Iruma to school. "Oh, we have to go now." I said, grabbing ahold of my baggages, "We're off now. Let's go, Iruma!" "Okay, Onē-chan!" Said Iruma following me, "See you later, Grandpa!" "See you later, and stay safe overnight Ryūko-chan!" Waved Grandfather. "Have a good day and please be careful." Said Opera.
While the group and I walked to school, we had some time to hold a conversation. "I'm going to serve Iruma-sama as always." Said Asmodeus-san. "That's very obvious, Asmodeus-san." I commented. "Lave-Lave is going to be my knight for the programme." Exclaimed Valac-san. "But of course, a knight must always carry out his or her duties without any exemptions." Added Lavande-san. "Onē-chan's going to be staying overnight with Kiriwo-senpai." Said Iruma, "She decided to be his servant." "My, how noble of her." Fawned Lavande-san carassing her cheek, "Serving Sir Amy, just as the days of you protecting him as always." "As expected of you, Ryūko-sama!" Praised Asmodeus-san, "Having the will to protect Amy-senpai more often with this programme!" "I bet you and Kiriyan-senpai will have a great time." Cheered Valac-san. "Good luck and be sure to have fun." Said Iruma. "Thank you." I said to the two.
The moment we reached the entrance, we greeted the Student Council commitee, who were greeting the students at the front gate as always. But once we passed by, I saw my master being taunted by his class bullies again. I was angered at this and I know that I am his servant, so I told Iruma to hold my things before I rushed to help. "I bet you're serving someone, Amy." I heard one of them, "Get it? Because you're a Bet (2)? Get it?" "Hahaha! You so deserve to be a servant!" Taunted the other. "Shut up and leave him alone!" I shouted before I swiftly punched the jokester bully in the guts. His comrade was shocked and once he looked at me, he started to shiver. "H-Honor student Ryūko!" He stammered my academic alias, "W-What a-are you doing here?" "You and your comrade shut the f— up and watch what you two say about him!" I threatened. "Hey... why not?" Questioned the one I punched, "He's someone servant, isn't he?" "He serves nobody here, I serve him!" I yelled. This made a lot of other students notice my anger showing. "Has anyone of you remembered something that I have said last week, when I was playing guitar?" I asked the audience. One of them raised her hand and said: "We are all demon. We are one species, in spite of our races, ranks, power capacities and other feats. We should treat any of each other as an outcast because of only one weak feature. If you do, the same treatment will occur to us as revenge." "That is correct." I said, "No matter how different we are, we should never condemn others about what flaws they have. Why? Because we, too, have our own flaws. So be good and follow my example, if you want to live before I trash you two with my claws." And with that said, they apologised and ran off. The crowd cheered and fawned over me for a specatular display of being a threatening, yet stature example of a better student. I turned over to my master and asked him while grasping his hands: "Master, are you alright? Did they do you any harm?" "No, I'm fine, Ryūko-chan." Said Master before he patted my head, "But thanks for standing up to them. I was gettin' a little mad of them makin' a pun about my rank." "Thank goodness you're alright, Master." I sighed in relief, "I could have worried even more." "Hahaha. You sure know how to be a servant, huh?" Chuckled Master, "We should head to class. I'll see you later, Ryūko-chan." "See you again, Master." I said before we went our seperate ways.
