Girls are my weakness. I'd admitted that to myself a long time ago.

I understood that, and I also understood how to control my feelings. So why couldn't I control them when thinking about Maisie?

Yes, she was beautiful and I was physically attracted to her. But I've been physically attracted to many girls before. When I spoke to her though, it felt like more meaningful than anything I've felt before. Her charisma pulling me in was too strong to ignore.

I wanted to see her more, to simply be in her presence. That sounds creepy. I'm not a creep, i was just... charmed. Not only was I charmed by her, but there was something intriguing about her.

So as I watched her walk away from me, speedily making her way down the corridor, I couldn't stop the disappointment that flowed through me.

Sure, I'd see her soon, but soon wasn't now. I had to need to converse with her, similar to how we did last night.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of my name being called. I turn around to see Conan jogging towards me, an excited look on his face.

I look around to see a small group of girls watching him, and he slows down as he passes them. "Hello ladies." He winks and I watch as all of them show their flirtiest smiles.

I shake my head. That used to be me. In fact, that was me a couple of weeks ago. That is before Maisie started sitting in front of me in English.

When he finally reaches me after a little light flirting with the girls he has the same look from moments ago.

"Mate Jadon just told me he's having a party tonight. We should check it out." He says clearly satisfied with the thought of getting intoxicated.

Usually, I would jump on the idea of drinking away my worries with Conan and anyone else who was going. But what if Maisie called me again tonight? No, I have to get her off my mind.

With that settled I agreed to go with Conan's plans and began to prepare myself for another Friday night.

Another wasted night, (and I mean that in two ways), another night of having no cares, and another night of missing her. In other words, quite a meaningless way to spend my time.

Then again, I could either miss her on my own, or I could be missing her surrounded by my drunk friends. Maybe they'd help distract me from my thoughts Maisie for a little while. Then again, did I ever not want to think about her?

It'd be unhealthy to wallow over her though.

With my mind settled I made my way to my first class after hearing the bell circulate the corridors.

All of my classes went slower than I'd like them to. Maybe it was because I had a dying need to see Maisie, or maybe it was simply because watching snails race would have been more interesting than the lessons set.

I'd put my money on the former.

The only class I had with Maisie was English and we had that after lunch. Thankfully it's lunch now, so I'd get to see her two periods running.

I left my chemistry class as soon as the bell went. Maisie has biology, so I was hoping to catch her straight after class.

I stood in the corridor, looking over everyone's heads trying to spot her. I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't catch her in time. She always leaves her classes in a blink of an eye.

Just when I thought I'd missed her, a pretty brunette came into view. I made my way other to her and gently tapped her shoulder once I'd reached her.
