Yesterday
Life was such a different game to play
We roamed freely, now we have to stay.
How we long for yesterday.
Suddenly
Nothing seems to be
Quite the way it used to be
There's a sickness means we can't be free
Oh yesterday went suddenly.
Why it had to go
We all know
We heard them say
But things are so wrong
How we long for yesterday
Yesterday life was such
An easy game to play
Now they say
to hide away
Oh I believe in yesterday
Now you're far away
And I long for yesterday
Friends I want to see
Can't be here like yesterday.
