Chapter 30♡

(Ashleigh's P.O.V)

I woke up to a load of missed calls and texts from the girls. I had a big smile on my face. Last night was... surprising. "Mommy!!!" Hearing laughter, I saw Will tickling our boy. "Did you wake up again baby?" Giggling even more, Will asked if I wanted breakfast. "Of course. That would be lovely."

Replying to the girls, I just laughed. "Let's go and make Mommy some breakfast." Singing to him, I replied to the messages..

Natalie:

Things are much better. He said he may seek help. For his anger problem. I've missed him.😊 how are things with you and Jeff? I hope Owen is ok too. Xx

Maggie:

He's really cute. How's you and Barry?🌟x

"Mommy. Can we have honey hoops?" Saying yes, I said yes. "Maggie and Nat have just texted. They were asking how last night was." Will then blushed.. "I loved being close with you last night. I'm surprised you didn't scream.." Giggling, I drank my tea. "I've got work so I'm gonna get ready." Sorting out my messy little monkey, he continued to eat his breakfast. "Riley roo, Mommy needs to get you ready so that you can go to Nannas." Taking him upstairs, I quickly got him ready. I had a terrible nightmare last night.. one that I hadn't had the chance to talk to him about. I dreamt that I was screaming that much.. I had a small pin in my hand. That Will was gonna hurt me again. He wasn't doing anything. He'd just kissed me. "All done honey." Kissing Riley, he went back into his bedroom.

Getting ready, I got a text from Jen. My friend at work.😊

Hey. Are you coming back to work today?😊

Texting her back, Will hugged me from behind. "I'm off to work now. Did you want me to drop Riley into the daycare at the hospital?" That would be a big weight off my shoulders. "If you don't mind?" Taking him along with his bag, he screamed happily. "Bye baby!"

Straightening my hair, I just looked in the mirror. Truthfully, I was still on edge. It was awful. Getting my bag ready, I got my lunch sorted. I got in the car. Texting Jen back.

Driving into work, I looked at the picture of me and my sister. My brother had called me too. The family dinner was great. Getting into my office, I saw Jen run towards my door. "You look excited..'

Setting up my desk, she nearly squealed. "I am. I've got a date tonight." Asking her to tell me more, she tried not to reveal too much. "All I know is that he's cute." Getting on with some work, my morning flew by. Texting my sister, she mentioned that she was starting to have slight pains. Ringing her, I just typed up some notes. 'Hey. Are you feeling ok?' Hearing her groan, she said no. 'I think I'm going into labour. I have rang mom. It really hurts.'

Trying to make sure that she was calm, I instructed her to take deep breaths. 'I'll ask my boss if I can come to the hospital.' 2 hours later, my boss said it was ok for me to leave early. 'Tell your sister that I said good luck!' Jen waved at me as I left. Checking to see if Riley was ok, mom said that he had been playing all afternoon. 'I rang the nursery earlier. He's fine. I heard from Jay. I'm going to make my way to the hospital. See you there.' Getting there, Nat said hi. 'Hey. Is Ria here?' Taking  me to her, she cried when she saw me.. 'Ahhh. I'm here. It's ok.' Taking her hand, she just continued to take deep breaths. 'Jay is..' Seeing her face intensify, Nat came back into the cubicule with Maggie.

'Ok sweetie. You're about 7cm dialited now. Nearly there.' Jay came back with drinks. 'Hiya.' Taking her other hand, we just helped her through the process. "Come on honey.. just one more push!" Screaming, we heard a cry. "Ahhh.. your little girl is lovely." Jay smiled as Will hugged him. "Ahh... say hi to your mommy."

(Ria's P.O.V)

Looking at my baby, I just felt really overwhelmed. "Wow.. is she really ours?" Jay kissed me. "Yes she is." Just looking at her, I felt so happy. "Everything is good with her." Wanting my sister, I asked for her. "I'll go and look for her." I was worried about her. "I love you Ria. Like really love you." Jay just held my hand as I gazed at our little girl. "I love you too." Just cuddling her, I thought about contacting Mom and Dad. "I can do that for you if you like?" He was the best. "Your daddy is so cool." Snuggling my little girl, I saw April pop in. "Aw.. she's so cute. Are you feeling ok?" Sitting beside me, I told her that I was still nervous. "I'm trying to be open with Jay. He told me he loved me." April smiled. "That's great news." Smiling, I admitted that I was still having visions of Dean coming near me.. "It's even worse now I have given birth." April just listened to everything that I said. "It's completely normal for you to feel this way, but your family love you a lot.' Looking at my little girl, I yawned. 'I'm already tired." Leaving me, April told me to shout if I needed anything.

(Jay's P.O.V)

I headed to the vending machine to get something to eat when I heard Ashleigh shouting outside.. Will was trying to calm her down. "I'm not ok! I'm feeling ill." Walking towards the ED entrance, Ashleigh pushed Will. "Hey bro.. I heard Ashleigh. Are you ok?" He winced a bit.. "No. I'm not. She's really stressed." Asking if Riley was ok, Will said that she dropped him off at her mom's. "I can't believe I'm a dad now. It's crazy." Walking back with him to see Ria, she asked where her sister was. 'She's outside. She's just having some time out.' Jay took over dad duties. "She's gorgeous. I'm your daddy.." He loved her already. Will came back to our room.. telling me that he'd called Mom, Dad and Evan. "They are so relieved that you're ok. Dr Charles is going to talk to Ash. Riley is also ok. I'm gonna pop over to see how he is." Touching her cheek, she moved about. "She's adorable bro."

(Ashleigh's P.O.V)
Dr Charles asked me why I was feeling anxious. "I dunno. I just felt weary. I love Riley lots.. Now Will is back in my life, I just feel anxious. No idea why, I just don't feel right." Dr Charles said that I was maybe suffering from a bit of post natal depression.

"Did you feel like you weren't connecting with Riley when he was first born?" Thinking about it, I admitted that I struggled as me and Will weren't exactly on good terms when he was born. "We'd argued, I told him the truth about Riley's dad. My first relationship.. I had a nightmare. That Will was gonna hurt me again. I then woke up with a pin. It was in my hand.." Dr Charles then told me that he could refer me to see a counsellor. "That would be great. Thankyou."

After seeing him, I saw my handsome boyfriend waiting for me with my bags. "Thankyou." Kissing me, he reassured that Riley was safe with Mom. "Ria told me that she would be staying overnight with our new niece. "I'm taking you home for a romantic night. Just the two of us." I loved the sound of that.
