Chapter 55♡

(Ashleigh's P.O.V)

I decided to look for more baby stuff today. Sitting on the sofa, I just looked at cute interior designs. Rubbing my stomach, I thought about how much me and Will had actually gone through. I really pushed him away when I first got to know him. He must of thought that I was a right nightmare. I didn't exactly make it easy for him. But, a few months later, we are happy, in love and raising Riley. "Mommy!" Hearing him scream like that, I ran straight to his bedroom. "Ahhh baby." He had injured himself. "It hurts.." Taking his bag along with my bag, we made our way to Med. "Hi babe. What are you doing here?" Seeing Riley get upset, he took him. "He fell over and it may need seeing to." Will took me to a cubicle with our son. "Mommy..." I held his tiny hand. "It's ok buddy.. daddy is going to fix your cut."

Will asked me if I was alright. "I'm fine honey." Seeing him blush was the cutest thing.😍 "here we go buddy." Kissing his knee, Riley smiled. "There we go.." Sitting down, Will asked if I was feeling any pain. "Not really. I just feel sick all the time." He kneeled down to me.. taking my hand. "Did you want any water?' Saying yes, he went to get some. "Mommy?" Asking me if we could call Dad, I dialled his number. "Hey Dad. Me and Riley just had to take a trip to Med. Yes, he's all patched up. He just wanted to say hi." Handing him the phone, he chatted away. I winced a bit as I stood up. Our baby was giving us hard kicks today.. "Hi baby.. we love you so much." Just taking a few deep breaths, Natalie walked past.

'Are you ok Ashleigh?" Wincing a bit, I said no. "Let's get you checked out." Calling Maggie, she went to take care of Riley. Natalie then asked where the pain is located? Pointing to my stomach, she told me to lie down on the bed. "Let's just check that the baby is ok." Trying not to worry, I saw Will through the curtain. "Please don't tell him.." Natalie looked at me.. wanting to know. "My low moods have come back. I've had more thoughts about my ex.. bad ones. All I want to do is protect our kids.' Natalie checked on our baby. 'You're about 4 weeks along. He or she looks comfortable in there.' Letting the tears flow, Natalie rubbed my shoulder. As she wiped the gel away from my stomach, Will stepped in the cubicle with Riley. 'All done. Here is your scan picture.' 



Natalie then left us alone. 'Thanks Nat.' Sitting up, Riley asked for a cuddle. 'Was everything ok?' Nodding, I just marvelled at the scan picture. 'Is that new brother or sister Mommy?' Agreeing with him, Will squeezed my hand. 'I love you both so much.' Saying that I had to go, Will asked for a moment alone. 'I know what you're going to ask me. I'm fine babe.' Stroking my cheek, he knew that I wasn't myself. 'Can we talk later?' I nodded. Taking Riley to see Dad, Evan rang me. 'Hi sis. Are you ok?' Starting the car, I continued to talk. 'Yeah.. I've just had a scan. Your new nephew or niece is looking good.' My brother laughed. 'Aw. That's cute. How is Riley?' Looking at him glance at things outside, I said that he was fine. 'Will is doing good too. How's Chelsea?' He explained that their wedding stuff is nearly sorted. 'All we need is the suits and dresses. I'm going suit shopping tomorrow.' Driving into the front of our apartment, Evan told me that Mom and Dad seemed worried. 'About me?' Agreeing, I took Riley out of the car, headed inside. Locking the front door, Evan comforted me. 'If you are struggling Ashleigh, just talk to me.' 

I couldn't lie to my brother. 'Mommy.. I'm going to play.' Letting him go, I told him that I became anxious over something.. Just pouring myself a drink, I told him about how I was feeling. "Ahhh sis.. does Will know?" Saying no, Evan stressed the importance of me telling him. "He'll figure out that you're not telling the truth sis. Just talk to him." My brother was amazing. "I know you and him have been through a lot since the start. He's honestly the best guy."

Evan then said goodnight. "See you at some point tomorrow." Saying goodnight back, I went to see Riley playing with his toys. "Come on you. It's time for a bath." Bathing him, he splashed about in the water. "Mommy! The duck is swimming!" His little eyes were so sparkly. "Yeah.. I can see that darling." Just smiling at him, he asked where his dad was. 'At work buddy. He should be home soon."

After his bath, I got him dressed. Thinking about Will, I shouldn't of shut him out like that. He asked me what was wrong.. I told him that I was fine. Lying to him was awful..

"There we go. All done." Hearing my phone, I saw a text from Jay.

Will has turned up at our apartment. He's drunk.

I couldn't believe this...
