Chapter 45♡

(Ashleigh's P.O.V)

'NO! WILL!' Feeling his arms around me, I had a sharp pin in my hand.. I had a dream that Ryan was going to take Riley from me. 'Shh.. babe, it's just a nightmare... I'm here."  Crying, I saw spots of blood on my hand. 'It's happened again." Will placed his arms around my body. 'You're ok..' The love of my life didn't have to deal with this. Ryan was still in my head. I disliked the way I looked because of him. Getting some anti- septic wipes and my phone, he cleaned up my cut.. 'Is this why you were in pain earlier on today?' Feeling ashamed, I just cried. 'I didn't want to bother you." He then firecely hugged me. 'I'll always be here for you." Just holding me, he stroked my hand. "We'll get more help for you.."

Once I had got dressed, we went to see Riley. "Daddy.. is mommy ok?" Crying, I picked him up. 'Mommy is just fine buddy. What did you wanna do?" Saying play outside, Will took him downstairs to get his coat on. "Make sure you guys are careful." Deciding to get dressed, I took out some house clothes. Work had been great. I had been really busy. Seeing my engagement ring on the side, I just felt my heart flutter. Jen had texted me.. wanting to catch up. Hank had also messaged Ria to see if he could babysit the kids one night.

After finishing in the shower, I put on my blouse with my trousers. I then put on my make up. Replying to Hank's text message, I saw Ria and the girls text me as well.

Will told us what happened Ash. We are all here for you. Lots of love. Xx

Replying to his message, I went to sort out my bag. I had my tablets, the card that Dr Charles gave to me. I had to book an appoiment to see him today. I want to recover. Seeing my boo outside, Riley ran up to me.. hugging me tightly. Making myself a sandwich, I sat at the table. I decided to ring Dr Charles. "Yes please. I'd like a physch check up." Arranging it for this afternoon, I heard joyful screams.. Riley loved playing outside. Coming back in, Will had him over his shoulders. "I've just booked a physch check up for this afternoon babe."

Taking my hand, he just sat next to me as he cut up some carrot sticks for Riley. "You'll be ok. I'm here remember? I cannot believe that I'll be marrying you." My little boy was becoming a little man. "He's going to be 6 in August. How did that even happen?" Will looked over at him. "He's just so smart. I love him." He was a fantastic dad. 'You're a brilliant mom. I'd better get ready for my night shift." Kissing my forehead, he then went back upstairs to freshen up. Riley then came and sat down next to me. "Playing outside was great Mommy. What time is  Hank coming?" I smiled at him. Hearing a knock, he ran to the door. "Hiya little man. Hiya Ash." Hugging him, he took Riley's hand.

Making him a cup of tea, he just sat down with me and we had a good catch up. "My other god child seems like he's doing well. How are you?" Explaining to him what I've been going through, he sympathised with me. "It's really rough. I've woken up 5 times in the last week.. screaming. Wanting it to all be over." Hank then told me that Will seems like a great guy. "You'll get there Ashleigh."

 Seeing what Riley was doing, he seemed to warm to him. 'Yeah.. I'm your godfather. I'll look out for you, help you when your'e in trouble.' He then looked at me. 'You ok buddy?' Hugging me, Hank looked at the time. 'I'd better get off. Tell Will I said hi. Call me soon.' Waving bye, I looked at the time. It was 7pm. 2 more hours until my man was home. Deciding to bathe Riley, I just thought about having treatment for my little issue. 'Come on then monkey!' Running up the stairs, I went to run him a bath as he picked his pyjamas. The ones he had picked were so adorable. 

'Meeting your godfather was fun today wasn't it Riley?' Splashing in the water, he then told me all about being at playgroup. 'It's been so fun Mommy. We sing songs, paint and play with toys.' I just adored him. We had him, we were getting married. Life was great. Once he was all wrapped in a towel, I tickled him until he told me to stop! 'Mommy just loves you soo much. So do your grandmas, uncle, and auntie.' After dressing him for bed, he went to go and play with his toy trains. I then went to get my night clothes out. Replying to a few messages, Jen along with Chelsea, Maggie, Nat and Ria had wanted to know how I was doing. Ria and Evan were my siblings. They liked Will a lot. They liked us being happier. Laughing at Jen's messages, I replied to them. 

This is exciting! We have to plan something before you become Mrs Halstead!

The group chat then started pinging..

Maggie: We could all go for drinks at Molly's on Saturday if you like?

Natalie: That sounds like a great idea! 

I then let them all know that Chelsea was thinking of celebrating her enagement as well.. maybe we could have a joint engagement party with everyone?! Ringing Ria, she asked what I was up to. "Bea is being all noisy and cute. I love being her mom. Jay is at work." Just cooing at how cute my niece was, I asked her if she wanted to help plan my engagement party. "Of course!!! I got your text about Chelsea's too. I think a joint party would be a fab idea. Jay is on a late shift tonight so I'll be spending the rest of the evening giggling at every cute thing that she does."

Discussing the joint party, I asked what kinda theme she wanted. "Well, I was thinking of something a bit more simple at Molly's actually. Just us girls." Ria then suggested going outfit shopping if we all wanted? "With all of us?" Ria said yes. "I could drop off Bea with Dad, then Riley could go with Mom?" Sorting out dates, we got all excited. "I wonder when Jay will pop the question?! Hey?" Laughing at me, Ria said that she was wondering if he was going to do it pretty soon. "He's just been more romantic then usual." Giggling, I looked at the time. "I've got my check up in a bit at Med sis. I'll ring you as soon as I've done. Love you."

Will hugged me as I got ready to go to Med. "He'll be fine. You go to your check up. Are you sure you're alright with going on your own?" Reassuring him, he then relaxed. "I'll be fine. God, you're so handsome." He then hit my bum. "Oi! That's for our private time."

Getting in the car, I made my way to Med.
