Swagger's POV
I've been having the same nightmare for weeks and I can't get it to stop. "Jesus Swagger you look exhausted" Mason says as I walk up to the breakfast table. I got to school a little later than usual. "Yea. Have you had any sleep?" Matt asks me looking concerned. "I've tried but I just can't" I say to them and they all look at each other and nod. The bell rings and I don't even bother getting breakfast. Fitz walks over to me and nudges me lightly. I smile at him weakly. "Swagger I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my house after school and stay for the weekend. You don't have to if you don't want to" Fitz asked. "That sounds cool" I say and his face lights up. "Alright awesome" he says as we get to my class. "I'll take you home after school. So you can let Toby's mom know and get clothes" he says "ok. You better get to class it's almost time for the late bell" I say to him and he smiles and jogs down the hall. I walk into my class and sit down at my desk. I smile to myself as I get out my stuff.

-later-

I jolt awake and look around my last class of the day. I wipe the tears from my eyes and finish my paper. The bell rings and I get my stuff ready. I walk up to the teachers desk and turn in my work. I walk out of the room and start to make my way to the student parking lot. I walk out the doors and I start to look for Fitz's car. I get out my phone and text him that I'm outside. He text back saying that he's a little late because he had to finish a test. I sigh and put my phone in my pocket. I suddenly feel someone shove me to the ground. I look up at who shoved me and I see Kyle. "Sup loser?" He says while smirking at me. "What do you want?" I say kinda annoyed. "I just wanted to have a little fun. No need to be all rude" he says and I stand up "you're the one who fucking shoved me" I said and his smile lowered. "Ok enough of the bs. I've heard some people talking about how you've been saying that you could beat me up and I'm here to prove them wrong" he says as he pushes me down. I take off my back pack and get up. "I never said anything to anyone about that, but ok" I say. I suddenly feel a ping of adrenaline rush through me and I ram him into the wall. He throws me down and gets on top of me. He starts to repeatedly punch me. I knock him off and start to do the same to him. He pushes me off and we both stand up. He runs at me but I dodge it and he rams into the school door. He gets up and runs over to me. I stop for a second and wait until he gets close enough to me. As soon as he goes to swing at me I block him and punch him as hard as I can. He falls backwards and looks at me. He stands up again and punches me as hard as he can. I don't fall but I do stumble backwards. I wipe the blood off my nose. I run up to him and kick him in the nuts. He falls down on his knees. I go up to him and punch him one more time as hard as I can and this time I knock him out.

Fitz's POV
I walk out of the school and my jaw drops as soon as I see Swagger. He looks fucked up but not as fucked up as the knocked out Kyle on the ground next to him. I close my mouth and run up to Swagger. "Lets go" I say but Swagger just stands there. I hear Kyle's friends talking as the school doors open and close. "HEY!" I here one of them yell. "LETS GO!" I yell as I grab Swagger's hand and his stuff as we run to my car. I hop into the drivers seat and Swagger jumps into the passenger seat. I speed away from the school.

-much later-

"So what happened?" I ask Swagger as Toby's mom is treating him. "Kyle shoved me because someone has been spreading rumors about me saying that I said that I could beat him up. A fight started between us, I knocked him out, then you showed up" he explained. I look over at Toby and she looks shocked. Someone was filming the whole thing. I downloaded it. Toby and I watch the fight. After the video ended Swagger grabbed the stuff he needs for the weekend and we went to my house. When we got to my house we sat down on my couch and I just looked over at Swagger. I didn't realize that it had been that long. Swagger looked over at me confused. "Fitz are you ok?" He asked snapping me out of my thoughts. "Yea sorry I spaced out" I said as I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. Swagger went back to his phone and I just stared at the ceiling.

-a few hours later-

I guess I was tired because I fell asleep on the couch. I wake up and look around. I see Swagger asleep on my chest. I blush and look away for a second. I suddenly notice something. He's actually sleeping. He hasn't slept normally in weeks, but now he is. I think for a second. Is he having nightmares because he feels lonely? Because all of the sudden he falls asleep on me and he's now completely calm. I keep thinking to myself until I feel him move. I pretend to be asleep as he wakes up. "Wtf? Swagger......why are you so stupid?" I hear him ask himself as he gets up. I hear him walk down the hallway and the bathroom door close. I sit up and frown. He just needs someone so he can feel secure. That's why he hasn't slept. He feels alone.

I'm done pushing my feelings aside.

I'm telling him how I feel. I hear the bathroom door open and Swagger walks into the living room. "Hey" he says "hey. Umm Swagger? I was wondering...if you wanted to go to dinner...with me" I ask nervously. Swagger looks at me "umm sure. As in like a date? Or something?" He asks confused. "If you want it to be" I say and he blushes. "I'll take that as a yes" I say and stand up.
