I stand and watch the earth fail
It fails to grow and fails to learn
Like myself
I never learn
To close off my heart
To protect myself from a broken heart
I want to hide away my soul
From the times where I have failed
To keep my heart safe
from thee eternal pain
You killed me
You saved me
You broke me
You fixed me
