the reasons i love

My heart longs to feel accepted
To feel loved and wanted
I've been looking so long
For someone to love me as i am
With all my flaws
But seem to have found them in the most unlikely of places
He has stolen my heart
He has made me feel whole again
I found him in
The tortured soul of a man who has lost it all
In his eyes, kindness lies
He keeps his heart locked away from so many
But he has let it out for me
His shell is cracked but not gone
I hope someday to know ever small thing about him
From his favorite food
To the way he laughs
I wanna know everything about him
I want to hold him closely
I want to make him happy
Make him whole and complete like he has me
He has my heart
He has all of me
He is slowly becoming the center of my world
And as he sleeps next to me, on this couch
All i wanna say is "i love you"
I wanna hold him, kiss him, be here with him
He truly is the who holds my heart
I part of me fears, this will have to end
I will lose my man
But he always feels so honest
When he says he's here to stay
That he won't brake me, and leave me in the dust
Like so many have before
He makes my heart flutter
Every time he says something sweet
He makes me worry constantly
About his safety
I have to fear losing him to more than just loss of love
To death, to prison
But its worth every moment i spend with him
Cause he makes my heart whole
He makes my mind worry
But i will cope, for sake of how amazing it is when im with him
And i can tell he is trying to get away from this dangerous lifestyle he leads
But i know its hard
I love that he's trying,
But i know he might fail
But either way, is fine with me
Cause im in love with the person
The way he smiles, the way we Interact, the feelings i get when he's around, the kindness he shows, the depth to his character, his long hair, his deep brown eyes, the way he doesn't care what anyone thinks, those are but a taste of the reasons i love him
He makes me feel safe, at home in his arms.
And he is mine.
