Everything was all set. My dress, the white roses, my personally handpicked entourage, the rings, and my pretty bouquet.I stood in front of the mirror, admiring how the embroidery of my gown go together with its dainty details of Swarovski crystals, white peals and laces. It drops gracefully to the floor, sparkling on even the slighest move of my body. All my trips back and forth to Paris and Milan for this dream wedding dress are worth it. Now that I am actually wearing it, I feel like shedding a tear. It was beyond magical.
My hairdresser smiles at me as he gently puts the long white veil on top of my head, giving me a heavenly glow. I met his smile and breathed in, surprised about how I could possibly look this beautiful. Maybe it's the gown, or my perfectly donned up hair and the floating beads of tiny crystals on it, or the radiance of the afternoon sun illuminating the room... or the fact that I am so happy, so so happy.
Today, I am finally marrying my perfect man.
"You make a beautiful bride, Bella."
"Thank you, Pierre." I gave him a hug and went.
Carrying the bouquet in my hand, I took the white limo and couldn't wait to get to the church.
When our car finally pulled up, I slowly ushered outside and breathed in. This is it.
I willed myself to remember every single detail. I want to remember everything. The church bells ringing. The flower petals all over the floor. The sweet aroma of the wind. The clear skies. The rustle of the leaves.
This is going to be the start of my best days.
And I am excited to spend all my days with him for the rest of our lives. Until my last breath. Through thick and thin. For richer or for poorer. Till death do us part.
I took careful steps as I approach the church doors. I straightened my gown and waited for the doors to open.
And when it did, I see all the eyes staring at me. I grinned, flashing my best smile, and wandered my eyes to the room.
Everything was all set.
Except for one thing.
