7 pounds and 14 ounces, born September 23, at exactly 9:15 PM.

"What's her name?" The nurse had to ask twice before she got an answer because Jennie was literally drawn in by the bundle of joy wrapped up tightly in her arm.

"Nayeon," Jisoo eventually chimed while giggling and the Nurse proceeded to prepare a tag for the baby.

"She is so beautiful." Jennie was in tears at this point, alternating between stroking her full head of hair and her chubby cheeks.

"Just like her mother." Lisa laid a kiss on her forehead, she was seated next to her, holding Jennie tightly while waiting eagerly for her turn.

"I'll go check on Chitthip and everyone else in the waiting room, they will be elated." Jisoo cooed. "Congratulations." She gave a small smile before allowing the new parents to themselves.

"You are so strong." Lisa said to her the moment Jisoo exited the room.

"Traumatized much?" Jennie giggles, she had warned Lisa that it wasn't in her best interests to be present for the delivery but she wasn't having any of it.

"I am more than traumatized." Lisa widens her eyes in horror and runs her hands through her hair frantically. "But at the same time, I haven't been so in awe of anything. I'm so proud of you for being such a strong woman, one that I don't deserve to be so blessed with, and I mean it with every bone in my body when I say I will spend the rest of my life being the best woman I can be to you and our child, Nayeon." Her eyes are teary, but tears of happiness.

They shared a passionate kiss mingled with more tears.

It was one of those raw moments of pure bliss that was just for them, that only they could understand. So much pain had brought them together but somehow within themselves, they had found a way out.

"I hope our daughter turns out to be as smart, strong, kind, beautiful and resilient as my sister was. Yet again, I'm not worried, I know Nayeon will be watching and guiding her every step of the way during the times when we can't, just like I know my parents were watching over us when there was no one to. "

"They would be proud. I hope you know that they would have been so proud of the fantastic woman that you have become."

They kissed again and baby Nayeon let out a small cry, causing them to break away in laughter.

"She's your daughter alright." Lisa joked and Jennie rolled her eyes. Yep, she was back to Lisa in all her entirety.

"Are you ready to hold her." She looked up to Lisa and gestured for her to take Nayeon.

"Never been more ready." Lisa hastily and in one smooth move, collected her daughter into her arms while simultaneously rising up.

Lisa was rocking her back and forth by the bedside.

This was her life in one picture, all that she had always wanted, a full and complete family. Her heart always ached that Jennie had to loose almost everyone she loved but she had been given such a privilege so far to live a long and healthy life, something that neither her parents nor Nayeon got. It was up to her to use this opportunity to the best of her ability and do right by those who were still counting on her.

She stared down at the diamond engagement ring on her finger, it was new. Lisa had insisted that they start afresh but somewhere in her heart, there would always be a soft spot for the girl who unknowingly and madly fell in love with her arranged wife slash boss. It was an unconventional love story that led to a happily ever after.
