A Day at the Pool

We have closing ceremony for this semester which feels so fast that its already over because it has been very eventful for all of us with everything that happened. Summer vacation rolls around for us but its not an actual vacation because we still have to train meaning the training never stops for us.

Today me and the girls are going to hang out at the pool where Yaomomo invited us to a sleepover at her house after so we can spend time together before training camp which will take up a lot of our time.

Luckily I was able to get my parents permission for this sleepover since its my first one outside of family, its because of Dad's connection to Yaomomo's family from his life as a pro was how I was allowed since it assured him I will be well taken care of.

*Flashback*
After the finals me and the other girls hang out asking each other about plans for summer vacation where Jirou informs us that it was already requested by the school to our families not to take long vacations then Yaomomo says its sad because she was supposed to go to Venice with her parents then I shared that I agree because with me I was supposed to go to Okinawa with my family to visit my relatives there which I was looking forward to.

Mina says "bummer, I just bought a new swimsuit" where Jirou says "well it cant be helped there since we did have an encounter with the villains" then Mina replys whining like a child "but still I want to go out and have fun". Hagakure suggests that we use the schools pool which Tsu agrees to then Ochako says "thats great since we dont have to spend everything", I say "its the same banana(this means same concept) where we still go out and have fun".

Yaomomo then invites us all to a sleepover at her so we can all wind down before a long week camp where me, Mina and Jirou who have already been to her house say "yay we cant wait" then Hagakure says "thats great, we can have our girl time together".

*end of flashback*

I arrive at school putting on the school issued swimsuit which Yaomomo told us to wear since we will also treat this as a training session. Sometime shortly after I arrive at the pool meeting with the other girls and doing some warm ups as requested by Yaomomo the boys start to come in where I wondered why.

Jirou then explains that our plan might have leaked at some point where the others decided to join in with us. It became more clear when Midoriya shared that he texted everyone thinking its a training session but sadly even Mineta is here which ticks me off where I swear if he tries anything funny he might end up not going to training camp.

I look around for Kirishima in hopes he is also here but I dont see him where I feel a bit disappointed, thinking harder even if he does come its not something special to see him in swimming trunks since Ive already gotten used to seeing him shirtless because of his hero costume.

All of us girls finally get in the pool where we play water polo which is so fun and what makes it even better is the shallow part of the pool is not too deep but some problems I have because of my height is its a bit hard for me to catch the ball at times because its either out of my reach or my jumps are not high enough for it that I have to use either the lanes or the edge of the pool as a boost.

I look past those problems seeing this as a training for me to not be discouraged because of my height so I besides thats part of the reasons why I was recommended into this school also being with the girls helps me get it off my mind too.

After some time we get out of the pool to take a break where suddenly Bakugou shows up doing his usual thing of yelling at Midoriya then to my relief Kirishima came too holding him back explaining how he got the message late and took time to convince Bakugou to come where Im thinking even if Kirishima came late at least he showed up.

Seeing Bakugou shirtless for the first time I imagine if this took place in middle school when I still liked him Id probably get a nosebleed but now that its the opposite I dont even care even if he has a ripped body.

Iida then announces his suggestion that all the boys will have a 50 meter race to spice up this training which gets them all fired up. Yaomomo as the vice president of the class offers to help Iida out with this which he happily thanks her for.

Ojiro then raises the question if they can use their quirks which Iida permits since we are in school grounds but no damage has to be done and nobody should get hurt which gets Bakugou fired up to beat Midoriya and Todoroki who he considers main rivals.

Us girls watch the race while Yaomomo acts as the refree with the whistle so she can signal when the race starts and stops. As she gives the go signal Bakugou who is competing flies across the pool with his quirk earning criticisms from Kirishima and Sero who comment that what he did is unfair since he didnt even swim but he defends saying there were no rules about having to swim.

Kirishima is part of the next batch to compete which gets me hyped but as tempted as I am to cheer for him I cant because that would be giving away how I feel about him so I just watch in anticipation just like during the sports festival. This time Todoroki wins going across with his ice which earns criticism from Kaminari and Mineta who comment that he didnt swim. In the following batch Midoriya wins where everyone cheers for him.

Iida announces the finale of this race which is a competition between Midoriya, Todoroki and Bakugou where whoever wins will be first place, Bakugou then tells Midoriya and Todoroki to give it their all to make this an actual competition for him. Just as they were about to begin the race they all suddenly fall into the pool as of their quirks just disappeared shocking us all then Mr. Aizawa steps in telling us its already 5:00 where our time to use the pool is up disappointing us all especially Bakugou who was hyped for this.

All of us girls go take a shower and get dressed heading home to drop off our stuff before we go to Yaomomo's house where she said the meeting time is 7:00 which will be dinner time.
