Tale of a Short Warrior [Eijiro Kirishima x OC]

Hero Work Studies Preparation

For homeroom today Mr. Aizawa announces the details of the Hero Work Studies where first and foremost is more serious than internship because we are working alongside with the pros. He says during the faculty meeting he had yesterday together with Principal Nezu they all decided we should not do it which upsets a number of us including me because I was looking forward to it.

He continues his announcement saying that some of them felt they wouldnt be able to raise strong heroes that way so they came to the decision first years like us are permitted to go but only to agencies with a good track record of accepting work study students.

Back at the dorms during our typical hang out session after school me and Ochako complain that Gunhead doesnt have enough interns so we cant be under him and the others share their struggles which is like ours or they are not permitted by the school for work studies. Midoriya shares that he already found an agency where we congratulate him for it.

Dad has been too busy lately with business and all so he cant find anyone for me to work under since his connections are just as busy as him where they might take time to reply. I will have to go out of my way to visit them myself which I will do maybe tomorrow or within the week.

Ojiro says "well it cant be helped because unlike with internship this time we will be directly involved so if anything happens" then Mr. Aizawa finishes his sentence saying "it becomes a problem who is responsible on the pros side".

He explains that pros who accept students after knowing their risks are the real thing. He then turns to Tokoyami clarifying with him that he got invited to work under the number 3 pro Hawks who is based in Kyushu where he says yes that astonishes some of us, he then asks what he did where he says he accepted the invitation where he says he will give him the work studies paper work later.

Eijiro gets called where Mr. Aizawa says Amajiki wants to see him which surprises him, he then says Nejire wants to talk to me, Ochako and Tsu where we all wonder why us of all the people.

Tsu suggests that it could have to do with work studies where Ochako says there is no way thats it then I finish her sentence saying its too good to be true. Eijiro decides to go right now because he cant wait anymore to know what its about, as he heads to the third years dorm I tell him to tell us how it went when he comes back where he says "of course I will" but shortly after Tsu decides the three of us should go now where I say "good idea Tsu" so Ochako agrees and comes along.

What Tsu thought was true that it had to do with Hero Work Studies which excites us that its with one of the Big Three also its under Ryukyu who is the Number 9 Hero. It was a surprise that Nejire invited me as one of the people to join her and she did ask me if Im related to Ryukyu because my quirk is dragon too so I told her were cousins then she says in her bubbly voice "OMG thats so cool, do pros run in your family" where I explained that Dad was a pro before so she replies "awesome and its a small world too".

She gives us an orientation about Hero Work Studies as well as what we will be doing saying "I look forward to working with you three cuties". I am beyond excited to work with Ryuko Big Sis since I havent seen her since my last trip to Okinawa when I was a freshman in middle school that its a big surprise for me to discover shes based in Tokyo now so I message Dad about it.

When we get back to dorms I ask Eijiro how it went and if its about work studies where he says "yes but I need to talk to you later Yu".

*timeskip*

After I finish my paperwork for the work studies and prepare everything else I need I message Eijiro what he needs to talk to me about so he replies "come to my room" so I say "going there".

I arrive in front of his room then knock on the door where he opens it telling me to come in so we take a seat on the coffee table in the middle . I ask what is it he needs to tell me then he says his work study will be in Osaka where he will be there for a week starting tomorrow so hearing it I say "congratulations" but I feel a bit sad where he seems to pick it up.

He pulls me into a hug and says "I will be back in no time Yu, we can do video call or chat" so I say "I dont want to bother you if youre busy or tired" then he says "I will always make time for you because thats what a real man should do for his girl, message me anytime".

I hug him tight then say "thanks Eij youre the best. I will also be starting my internship tomorrow too so lets do our best in ours since its our priority to work hard to become pros" where he says "we will be heroes together where nothing should get in the way".

We stay like this for awhile before we let go where I check the time seeing its already late so he asks if I want to sleep in his room tonight where I say yes so he carries me to his bed bridal style then climbs in after laying me down pulling the covers over us.

Somehow I dont feel nervous all even if its my first time to be sleeping next to a boy, especially one I have feelings for, in fact I feel secure because I trust Eijiro. He cradles me in his arms with my head pressed to his chest, the sound of his steady heartbeat together with his scent mixed with his soap and shampoo which is still fresh on top of the warmth radiating from his body is so soothing that my eyelids start to get heavy making me fall asleep.

Eijiro's point of view

I feel my phone vibrating where I check it to see its time for me to get up but before I do I feel something in front of me move slightly where I look down to see its Yuhi who is fast asleep. She looks so cute when shes sleeping that I dont want to wake her up so I slowly get up and get dressed gathering my things.

Before I go out the door I leave the shirt I wore last night beside her and give her a kiss on the cheek saying "see you soon Yu" then I rub her head and send her a message.

Back to Yuhi's point of view

I wake up feeling the bed is empty where Eijiro's spot is already cold meaning he already left a few hours ago but the shirt he wore last night is layed in the bed where I take a whiff of it where his scent is still fresh.

Checking my phone after turning on the wifi I see a message from him where I open it seeing a pic of him already at Osaka Station with Tamaki followed by a message saying "Just arrived now. You were sleeping so soundly this morning that I didnt wake you up so I hope you slept well, goodluck on your Work Studies. P.S. I left my shirt behind so hold on to it until I get back" so I reply "thanks Eij and goodluck".

I walk back to my room which luckily is just a floor up where I shower and get dressed preparing for the day leaving Eijiro's shirt on my bed. I then meet with Ochako and Tsu to meet up with Nejire to head to the site where our Hero Work Studies takes place.
