I feel rushed as I run around bare foot trying to find my black 4 inch heels, they hurt my feet like thorns, but, I was meeting my idol today.  My youtube mentor, he's funny, kind, generous, and hot.  I usually don't think like this but I have been waiting 10 months to see JC Caylen and I finally get to meet him.  I get so excited just at the thought of him.  I find my heels, and toss them on my twin sized bed.  I rush to the bathroom to curl my hair, which I can do in 5 minutes.  I draw  a thin line on my eyes with eyeliner, then I hastily put on mascara, finally deciding to throw much more than needed on.  But I'm one for first impressions.

I quickly kiss my mother , who was watching my house, goodbye before hopping in the car and driving to Kansas City.  You see, I live in Nebraska. Or as me and my friends called it, the middle.  Nothing to do. Nothing to see.  We are always so far from anything fun.  When I was a little kid, I didn't mind. I was forced to make my own fun.  I hoola hooped, made friends on the block, and even made a web show. Based off of iCarly of course! All my thoughts as a child flood my head as I pass a sign that says "Kansas City- 10 miles"

"I can't believe this is real." I say to myself in my car. Who would've thought three years ago, I would be meeting my idol, who I had just started watching.  Not me.  I didn't even think he was cute when I first watched his videos.  It was something about his charm, his word choice, his laugh, his chubby little cheeks he hates so much, and that little bump on his nose just puts me over the moon.  Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll be able to tell him how much I love him, I will probably spend 4 hours in a line for 4 seconds with JC.  But it's summer break, and I don't exactly have the greatest social life.  I'm just an 18 year old girl, who's idol is four years older than her and she's completely in love. I reach the sign in the road that says I've entered the amazing city.  I drive up to my hotel and drop my stuff off in my room then quickly zip off to the digicon.  As I had expected, I waited 4 and a half hours in a line. Finally it's my turn, I feel a tear fall down my cheek and onto my blouse.

"Oh my god. It's you!" I quietly say to myself.  I run to JC and give him a huge hug.

"Oh, heyy." He replies and hugs me back. I look up at him only to see his perfect smile.

"Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and think, 'I'm so f-ing beautiful?'" He asks me, taking me by the shoulders and standing a couple steps away from me so he can examine my outfit.

"No, I've really never known that I was.." I begin to say.

"Then clearly, I haven't been doing my job right.  What's your name?" he asks and I literally freeze.

"Me? My name is Lia.." I stutter and say nervously.

"Cool name princess.  What's that short for?" Is he playing the 20 questions game? I'm happy to answer any of his questions though.

"Julia.  Why did you call me beautiful?"I ask and hope he will answer the one question I ask him.

"Because you are.  We should talk more? Here's my number." He scribbles it on my left forearm.  He's amazingly attractive and devilishly charming.  A little weird, but charming.  His voice sounds different in real life.  Security tries to move me along.

"Wait, JC.. What time should I text you?" I ask, I had no idea when this would be over.

"7:30?" I nod and he gives me a thumbs up and goes back to  taking pictures with fans. I can't believe JC Caylen gave me his number.  I drive back to my hotel and call my best friend, Andrea Russet.  We have been since kindrgarden, and I absolutely trusted her with everything.

"Andrea! OH MY GOD YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED!" I yell into the phone

"YOU GOT JC CAYLEN'S NUMBER?" God, She can literally read minds.
