Sarah and I walk over to Ethan and Benny, who are currently pulling weeds out of the school's property as punishment for their recent antics. "Hey, guys!" Sarah greets while I stand next to her with an amiable smile. "Getting punished for your 'ghost alarm thing,' huh?" Sarah asks in amusement. Benny ignores Sarah's previous comment and inquires: "Can I ask you two a question? Do girls have like way more earwax than guys? Is it a puberty thing?" He questions, making me have a disgusted expression. I cross my arms and let Sarah take this one. "Do you guys have fewer brain cells or is it just a 'Benny' thing?" Sarah remarks. "Well, I mean... it takes a lot more than that," I hear Benny say behind us as we walk away with confused expressions. "Why did he- ugh, I don't even want to know," I state while putting my hand up to stop myself with a grossed-out expression.

In the computer lab, I try to work on my English homework on one of the school's computers. I try to start the computer up, but the monitor won't turn on. Confused by this, I try to look for the problem externally than internally because I couldn't mess with the school's property. But, couldn't find anything that was preventing it from operating. Then, Benny walks in and he immediately spots me with a smirk. "Hey, Zoe," he greets, the smirk still present on his face. "Hi," I say as I try to start the computer. "Computer problems?" He questions. I sigh in frustration. "Yeah, it won't even turn on," I explain. "Here, let me try," Benny says. He tries to fix the computer the best he could, but to no avail. "Sorry, sweetness, but I have no idea what's wrong with this computer," he says.

I give him a look of disbelief. "Sweetness?" I ask. Benny raises a confused brow at me. "Yeah, what's wrong with that?" Benny questions. "It's just- nothing," I state, trying to leave the topic while averting my gaze to the ground. "Well, I guess I'll see you around," I say as I start to pick up my belongings. "Zoe, wait," Benny states. I pick up my backpack and I look up to Benny, listening to him. "Was the 'sweetness thing' about Evil Benny?" I look back to the ground and I sigh. "Yes, ugh, he was such a jerk," I state while rolling my eyes in annoyance. "Was it something he did?" Benny questions. My eyes widen and I clear my throat. "N-No, no," I nervously responded.

Benny doesn't believe me and puts his hand on my shoulder. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, but I could tell this event is still bothering you," he says with a concerned expression. I let out a little chuckle accompanied by a grin. "When did you become my therapist?" Benny lets out a 'pfft' and smiles. "Alright, I'll tell you," I state with a frown. One day, after school, Evil Benny rang my doorbell and then he just came into my house. Then, after he came in... he pinned me against the wall and made out with me," I reveal, leaving Benny's eyes wide as saucers. "Did you, you know, kiss back?" Benny inquires. I swallow the lump in my throat, preparing myself for what's about to come. "I-" I start to state, but then, Rory and Ethan come into the lab. "Sorry, I'll see you later," I state before leaving him with Rory and Ethan in the lab.

Later, when Sarah and I were going to the movies with Erica, Sarah and I left when Erica flirted with some guy. So now, we walk onto the sidewalk, going back to our houses. Suddenly, Sarah gets a call. "Hello?" She asks. "Hey! How's my laptop? Please, please, tell me you brought it back to life?" She questions. I immediately know the person on the other line is Ethan or Benny since they're good at repairing things.

"Not anymore. Erica met a guy while we were waiting in line for a movie, and then she ditched us!" Sarah exclaims in an annoyed tone. "Wait, you're asking me for computer help? I thought you were the 'nerds on-demand," Sarah questions, making me raise a brow. "The last time I bought a plant, I killed it in a week," Sarah says out of nowhere, the perplexed look on my face appearing. "You guys really need to stop inhaling the science experiments. We'll be there in a bit," Sarah responds. Then, she hangs up. I raise a brow. "What was all of that about?" I inquire. "Ethan needs our help with a 'plant-thing," Sarah explains. I nod and we chat as we head toward Ethan's house.
