Sarah and I walk into the cafeteria after seeing Ethan and Benny sit at a table. "You guys won't believe what happened last night!" She says in an excited tone. "Mrrrrr," the guy with the helmet responds. I sit in a chair next to Benny while Sarah sits beside me. "Who's he?" She asks. "This is Boltz," Ethan introduces us to him. "'Cause he's faster than lightning," Benny finishes. I wave hello to Boltz and he waves back. "Why are you guys dressed like hockey players?" Sarah questions, turning my attention back to her. "It's not Halloween yet," she states the obvious.

"We made the hockey team," Ethan confidently states, making our eyes widen in surprise. "What? That's great! So, what, you guys are, like, water boys or something?" She inquires in an amused tone. "No! We happen to be players," Ethan tells us. "Yeah, and this is the players' table, so unless you're one of our hockey groupies, like Zoe, who is my girlfriend..." Benny states as he puts his arm around me. "Yeah, I'm so not on that team," Sarah responds, then she leaves.

"Fine. So, Boltz... what up?" He asks. We continue to talk to one another until the bell rings for my next class. "I'll see you guys later," I state, blowing a kiss toward Benny and then I turn around and leave.

Later, I talk to Sarah at her locker and Erica strides over to us. "There you are!" She says. "Special delivery from the vampire council," Erica looks around to make sure no one hears, and then she whispers the last two words to Sarah and I. Then, she proceeds to hand the letter to Sarah. "What now? Proper fang hygiene or werewolf dating tips?" She asks in a sarcastic manner. "Who's the new hunk?" Erica questions, looking at the boy with the helmet on. "That's Boltz," I reply. "With a B, as in BO. He's on the hockey team with Ethan and Benny," Sarah adds as she opens the letter. "Your dorks turned into jocks?" Erica asks us. "This is crazy!" She exclaims in shock. "Totally. I mean, I've seen jocks be dorky, but never dorks-" Sarah cuts off Erica by shouting: "I mean this!"

"It says I'm wanted for grave robbing! Why would I do that?" She questions, perplexed. "Bad nutritional choices?" Erica jokes, earning disgusted looks from Sarah and I. "Ugh, that's sick! I don't even feed on the living!" She shouts. "I stick to bottled, organic plasma," she states. "Yeah, that's not gonna help your case," Erica replies. "So, are you gonna introduce me to Boltz or what?" She turns to ask me. We glance over to see him try to open his locker. He angrily pounds on it, leaving a huge hole in the locker, leaving me with a confused expression.

Before we head to the hockey rink, Sarah tells me what the council told her: She's being accused of drinking blood from the diseased and that she only has 48 hours to find the grave robber, so I told her I'll help her. She gratefully thanks me and then we go to the hockey rink where Ethan and Benny are currently playing at. After their game is finished, we walk toward them and Sarah tells them what the situation is like what she told me. "And then the council's gonna terminate me if I don't catch this guy. I really need your help too," she worriedly states. "We'd love to, but... the team needs us too," Ethan says. "For what? You said yourself you barely set foot on the ice," Sarah states. "Hey, bench-warming is a noble tradition!" Benny argues. "Hey, Boltz, what's up!" He greets as he holds his hand up for a high five. Boltz high fives him, but he does it a little too rough on Benny as he shouts in pain, shaking his hand. "It's harder than it looks," Benny explains.

"Sorry, Sarah, Zoe, I'd like to help but we have the team to think about," Ethan responds. "Fine, we'll do it ourselves. But next time there's a monster in your closet, call someone else," she says, irate. I narrow my eyes at both of the boys and let out a scoff before leaving with Sarah. We exit through a door and a man bumps into Sarah. "Watch your step, Missy!" The man shouts. "Sorry," she apologizes. I scrunch up my nose in disgust at the smell of the man. "Ew, do all hockey players smell like BO?" She asks me. I shrug in disgust. Then, Rory speeds over to us, scaring me and Sarah.
