chpt 5

Todorokis POV

He made his way silently as he could hear her load steps as she ran in the opposite direction. To say he had faith in her was to much, but he understood for them to be able to win they'd have to trust each other. He made his way up some stairs hearing the sounds of Bakugous explosions. He was half tempted to go after her but he knew they'd waste time if they both went together. He had reached the fifth floor, he could see Takayami with dark shadow gaurding the bomb. He had to act quick.
Quickly he jumped out throwing ice at them, only to have dark shadow block the ice and lunge at him. This sent Todoroki to jump back. He sent more ice at him, but only to have Dark Shadow block him. He knew even if he froze the ground or his body dark shadow could easily block him.
"Todoroki where are you?" It was Musarame

"Fourth floor",he replied panting, he had managed to make an ice barrier between them but Dark Shadow was quickly destroying it.

"I'm on my way hold on", she replied, it angered him he was struggling to stop takayami, he knew light was his weakness but he refused to use his father's quirk.

Dammit. He looked down at his left hand. No I won't give him the pleasure to see me use his quirk. I'll win this without his help!

He was brought back from his thoughts as he heard, Musarame approaching. She looked...now that he noticed she was completely covered he couldn't make out her face except for her nose lips, the only evidence of her fight was her messy hair and the smoke coming off her. He could hear her heavy breathing.

"Todoroki run to the bomb now!" She yelled at him. He knew she had a plan, so without hesitating he ran.

He saw as Takayami was lifted by an invisible force and thrown back. He didnt have time to stare, he felt the bomb under his hand and immediately, All Mights voice called them winners. He let out a deep breath, he looked down to his right hand he would have to improve if he wanted to win with only half his power. He turned to face Musarame.

His eyes widened as she slowly fell, he reached her quickly and held her.

"Hey! Musarame! Stay awake, can you hear me? Wake up,"He didn't know why panick filled him, he knew why he was blaming himself, he should've realized sending her to go after Bakugou wasn't the right move.

He should've been powerful enough like the first time to not have his comrades in danger. Dammit.

Others POV

They were all gathered around the screens which kept an eye one each player and the area they were fighting.

"Uh All Might why have them fight?",asked Uraraka.

"I get it by putting Todoroki against opponents he'd have a hard time dealing with by himself, would push him to work with Musarame. Which would help him achieve the goals of today's exercise which is working in teams. But it seems Bakagou didn't learn from his first match", explained Momo.

"That's correct but also wrong", replied All Might,"This will give a chance of teamwork to be brought to young Shouto but look."

They all looked back at the monitors, they saw as Musarame yelled at Todoroki which they found amusing. No body really ever scolded him. They watched as she took off and came to face with Bakugou. They all gasped, he had cloth wrapped around his eyes but why? They all watched closely.

"Its seems Young Bakugou has learned how to avoid dear Musarame's quirk, as well as his attacks they're still as powerful as before but now-."

"They're better concentrated and since he has better focus he is able to inflict damage without taking down the building again like with he fought deku!" Uraraka chirped in, her eyes widening,"But that still doesn't explain the cloth. If you don't mind us asking what if Musarames quirk I saw it in action but she didn't even move."

"I'm assuming her quirk must work like Mr Aizawa, which means her eyes so Bakugou must've also realized this which is why he's covered his eyes",theorized Iida.

"That's right young Iida, Musarames quirk works with eye contact which seems Bakugou has discovered", He smiled.

"It looks like shes at a disadvantage then if she can't see his eyes, so why isn't she running?", asked Tsu, "and Todoroki isnt doing so good with Takayami's quirk either."

"Well you see eye contact isn't the only form of using her quirk",replied All Might, "Todoroki must have a plan to delay the fight for so long."

They all watched as she went for him, and touched him, sending Bakugou flying. He quickly got up, but froze in his spot and fell to his knees what it appeared to be as gagging or choking. They all held their breathes, they watched as she calmly approached him and knocked him out, they couldnt make out any expression due to her mask. Then they saw as she took off insanely fast.

"She touched him...and that was it",whispered Urarake horror in her eyes.

"S-Sir what's that quirk?", asked Momo, even she hadn't seen something like that before.

All Might just smiled,"Pain Deception if you want more information you'll have to ask Musarame."

Silence hung in the air even after they saw her use Telekinesis.

"She's got two quirks?" They asked.

"Just like todoroki." Replied Uraraka

"Only that Todoroki doesn't use both",replied Tsu.

"Todoroki and Musarame are the Winners!!",All Might yelled.

They watched as she collapsed, and Todoroki caught her in time. A pair of robots went in with a bed stretcher and todoroki placed her on it. They watched as she was taken. After wards Bakugou was taken to the infirmary, he didn't have any injuries but he was still knocked out. All they could see was Bakagous pain the moment he came in contact with her.

Your POV

You woke up with the most agonizing pain ever, you felt you chest close on itself. You started choking for air.

"Hey calm down!" A small elderly lady was trying to calm you.

"Recovery girl what's going on?"she recognized that voice it was Aizawas.

"I dont know but by what I can see she doesnt have any more injuries," the old lady went around inspecting her.

After a few more minutes of pain, she calmed down and started coughing.

"You alright kid?"asked Aizawa, his eyes showing concern

"Thats what happens when I engage with my quirk to often", I replied after finally calming my breath.

"Then I suggest you rest, and go back to class afterwards",replied the old lady, "Go to class Aizawa I'll keep an eye on her."

Aizawa nodded, "Take it easy." With that he left.

"I'll be right back sweety, just relax", the old lady followed after Aizawa and she was left alone.

That is until the door opened again.
